It is hard to judge well which version I like the best. This is a cleaner version, but the other seems raw and real hard for me to lose. Love you brother!!!!

I like this version, but I prefer the raw, uncut song. This man has a voice, a message, and The Good LORD Above. He doesn't need a studio. ❤️🙏🇺🇸

Same with Doggonit, I prefer the version recorded in the truck. Even if it does sound like it was recorded in a tin can.

I handled all life's stress when my love was still on this earth. Lost him 5 months ago to cancer. I don't handle it well now and drinking too much. Loved going to hang out with him, cooking together, drinking and smoking together. Gotta let go of the drinking alone though....one day...not today.

Jesus. I've not heard anyone understand why I drink as well as Oliver Anthony does. I've been struggling with drinking lately as I've noticed it's affecting my face...red blotches etc. But, I drink to keep from offing myself because I hate this f'ing world we're living in. I don't know what else to do because it seems like everyone else is just fine living in hell. Oliver expresses what I'm feeling better than I can.

It is hard work brother. A change of scenery may help. Be it familiar faces or the landscape you reside in. Major troubles require major changes.

I’m 24 and goodness does this song resonate. 4 generations of farming in Oklahoma. I’m the start of the first generation to not farm for a living. Also the first in my family to go to college. Sometimes I wish I just stayed out college and lived the way my family does. The more educated people get the more out of touch they seem.

Quick question. How much of the back-up music was planned and written? As opposed to being improvised? The way the other musicians jump in and out makes it feel like a big jam session and makes it very authentic.

I would only add that the title should say Feelin', instead of Feeling, in keeping with the idiomatic spelling of Pretty (Purdy)... But then again, I'm anal as he'll! Fabulous song! And for anyone out there thinkin' life ain't worth livin'...either give my Lord Jesus a REAL try, or go visit a children's cancer ward.🙏✝️😌🎶💞
