I too am ready to go home. 73 next month. lived a pretty good life. Feel awful for my grandkids. This world our USA country is not fixable except with the grace and mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ. Pray everyone...long and strong. Not for we old ones, but for the poets like Oliver, and the children who will be the next voices of Gods words. God bless you all and our messes up country.

Me too. 30 year old, busted me rear-end for the last 12 years to get to a "good salary" to be able to afford some rural land, a home, and have a family. Now with inflation and the greed of the 0.1% class, I cant afford any land, cant afford to build a new home, and due to unforeseen health issues due to how we are poisoned from the womb, its going on 4 years of trying to conceive a child and nothing. This world is a mess. Evil runs the show and mocks us. Praying daily that Jesus returns for us SOON. I will see you in heaven!

Just fyi violin and fiddle are the same thing just different names. When it’s used in country music, bluegrass, blues, etc. people just call it a fiddle.

I thought you might find this interesting. My sister was a professional musician for over thirty years. She still teaches piano violin and viola. Retired as a school teacher. I asked her recently if there was a difference between a fiddle and a violin. She told me the only significant difference is fiddle players will often sand down the bridge so as to allow them to play two strings at once that they normally can’t. I gotta believe her given the music teacher gig for twenty years, playing for 30 years with the Omaha symphony orchestra playing with Mannheim Steamroller and the countless students she has tutored I think there is a good chance she just might know what she was talking about. I am not trying to brag I am just very proud of her accomplishments. Currently at 69 she is learning to play the piano. I asked her how it was going. She said okay I can only practice about 3hrs per day. Yeah in my world that’s something to be proud of.

Momma was ready to go home. The Lord took her home early Sunday morning. "I'll fly away"..been in my ear since I was old enough to sit still in a pew..but today, hearing it for the first time since she past, lookin at her spot empty for the first time with tears streaming down my face,..I heard it in a whole 'nother way. "Some glad mornin'.." it wasn't glad for me cuz I was a mommas boy..but there was a hallelujah home coming in heaven. We can be angry and feel robbed..or, we can be thankful for being blessed with the sweetest lady to ever be called Momma.

This song captivates my soul and has since the first time I heard it. It's officially on my top 5 favorite songs in existence. God bless you for so generously sharing your talent with the world. I needed this song. Ive never been the crying type and I've been through quite a bit in the last decade. From losing everything in a house fire and having to live in a damn camper like some kinda deranged cousin Eddie to losing my dad in a tornado... And so much more random bs that life hit me with. I was swallowed by the black hole of depression for a long time but I finally came out of it and have slowly put a life together again best I can. I never cried through it all and when I heard this song the first time (and every time) that was it; everything ive had locked inside came pouring out with rivers of tears and I needed that more than I realized. Thank you. You're helping more people than you know. I'll be grateful forever and maybe someday I'll get to thank you in person, either here or when we go home. Much love from western Kentucky 💜

I know you will probably never read this but i think if you listen to this and the video that got 27M views.... It should be clear what the difference is...... This is great but it isn't the raw unrefined and relatable delivery of the song that we fell in love with I think. This song is great and there isn't anything "wrong" with it just know that there is a reason that people loved the other releases. It felt like you were singing to me it took me to a vulnerable place around fire late at night cold and uncomfortable nothing but the glow of the fire and the shine of the moon. Yet that place was is the best place to be you feel the weight of the world on your shoulders as well as the a peace and tranquility that is unmatched. The silence and be so loud. Thank you for your work. Thank you for helping me get through the long working days. Thank you for making music that makes me feel okay to not be okay. Men in this world don't "struggle" in the eyes of others we only fail. Strong and alone thank you for making not feel alone.

I'm a lost soul. Oliver and I grew up the same. We share a lot of the same pain and depression. I doubt he will ever see this but if he does... Oliver I don't know if anyone has ever told you this but you matter. You made a difference. I'm 31 years old living in the big city of Jacksonville and I'm from Piedmont, South Carolina (less than 500 people) I grew up on a farm and was raised right by my dad and grandfather. They taught me how to live off the land and be a man of God but I have lost my way. I have turned my back on God because my mind and soul have been twisted and tainted by how this new world has treated me. I'm absolutely miserable. I just want to go home but home isn't a place, it's a time, and that time is long gone. I thoroughly don't want to be alive anymore but I have a disabled wife and special needs son (named Oliver ironically) who love me and I'd do anything for. It's so comforting listening to the music that comes deep from your heart. Thank you for connecting with me in a way nobody has in a very long time. Thank you for putting my feelings into words. Thank you.

Especially before my 43 yr old only child daughter with stage 4 breast cancer & no money to get descent health care bc Walla Walla, Wa Cancer Center aren’t healing her like they should’ve done when she was first diagnosed bc she insisted they do a biopsy when they said, “she was fine!” She was at stage 3. Went into remission for 2 yrs & again they refused to listen to her symptoms & request for tests so it came back with a vengeance at stage 4! Please Lord let me go “home” ☝🏼 b4 her!! Thank you Jesus for my faith in her receiving a touch of your hand or word & she’d be healed bc I know that you’re bigger & stronger 💪🏼 than breast cancer! In Jesus’ Holy Name I pray…Amen 🙏🏼♥️🦋

2 things mate, if the lord was so righteous and such a great power, he wouldn’t inflict this incideous disease on people in the first place - period. But most of all, no matter how old children get through life; they look up to their parents for guidance, strength and resssurance. How can your daughter do this if you go before she beats this fight ? Don’t go before her, well not now when she needs you most. That’s the cowards way out mate. Live on with your own inner strength and help her ... she needs you as much as you need her ❤
