I just saw the concert at the Rodeo in Houston on Tuesday, and it was AMAZING! You are most definitely a legend in the making, and I'm happy to have been here for it. Your music is like a much needed therapy for me, and I yell it when I sing along. It definitely hits me in the feels, and that's what it's all about. Can't wait to see what's coming, and congrats on the success! You certainly deserve it. I'm glad you didn't slip through the cracks because we appreciate you so much! I'm a lost soul. Oliver and I grew up the same. We share a lot of the same pain and depression. I doubt he will ever see this but if he does... Oliver I don't know if anyone has ever told you this but you matter. You made a difference. I'm 31 years old living in the big city of Jacksonville and I'm from Piedmont, South Carolina (less than 500 people) I grew up on a farm and was raised right by my dad and grandfather. They taught me how to live off the land and be a man of God but I have lost my way. I have turned my back on God because my mind and soul have been twisted and tainted by how this new world has treated me. I'm absolutely miserable. I just want to go home but home isn't a place, it's a time, and that time is long gone. I thoroughly don't want to be alive anymore but I have a disabled wife and special needs son (named Oliver ironically) who love me and I'd do anything for. It's so comforting listening to the music that comes deep from your heart. Thank you for connecting with me in a way nobody has in a very long time. Thank you for putting my feelings into words. It's not a big deal and I'm sure it was some kind of KZbin red tape that not only loaded this with commercials but the strange long cutaways to the stock footage of the model walking around in a metropolitan background. Probably not even stock footage but two sets of footage CGI'd together, but it does not fit - I'm sure this wasn't Oliver's choice! But hopefully he's receiving a good amount of royalties - I''ve read he's doing okay financially, which he deserves. I literally noticed Oliver Anthony's music 2 weeks ago and I can't get enough. Tbh, I'm not a country fan by any stretch, but damn he is that good. I plan on purchasing tickets to his show in Savannah GA in April. I haven't been to a concert since Ozzfest 2008, and I already known its going to be an absolute blast worthy of the 3hr drive. I can't wait 🤗
