I remember there was a scene when she was talking to him on the phone and he said something along the lines of that he was feeling insecure that his girlfriend was around hot guys and i never understood that but it makes sense now. I never knew about the basement thing and the weird men, that was so unsafe and weird.

Yeah it seemed like a ruse to go home and be on the phone! We didn’t know any better with the editing & Nicole didn’t even know at the time! It is truly mind boggling to think she was pregnant during the competition and did not know it! In a way I am thankful she got eliminated when she did so that she was not competing when the miscarriage happened. I mean I am sure that was traumatic enough

Oh my word if you got Robbyne I might fall out on the floor While Miss Robbyne didn’t always make the most savory choices, she is one of the most legendary contestants in ANTM. She was present for so many things and in the center of so many things. She gave money to a man to help her with go-sees, she might have invented the names Mister and Miss J, she wore her emotions on her sleeve and taught us about the badonkadonk dance & we heard her sing a Bible hymn to drown out an argument with Ebony. I’d just love for you to get her to walk us through all the moments so we’d know what was going on in her mind. And I’d love to see sis laugh at all her antics because I like to imagine she has a good sense of humor about it all

I still don't love her but I appreciate her a bit more now considering the crap that Tyra put her through on the programme. She was clever to hire that man to navigate around Paris. @@selina5598 I go back and forth on Robbyne. In season 1 she was entertaining and charismatic, but also an unfortunate representation of Christianity with her judgmental attitudes. She was very unkind to Adrianne at times. After the show, Shannon and Robbyne lived together in LA. Robbyne was the guardian for two children I think her niece and nephew. She was not a good person to live with and Shannon outlined the ways she made everyone’s life miserable, but she was trying to be there for Robbyne’s niece and she didn’t have enough money to move out yet. So one night Robbyne comes home drunk and kicks her out of the loft giving her only a few hours to leave. It really hurt Shannon and it was clear that was the point at which they fell out of friendship. I’ve seen the incredible Instagram live she did during the pandemic with Adrianne and during that live, it was clear she has not talked to Robbyne since. Shannon said she felt like she saw a different side of Robbyne, so I completely get that. All I know is Robbyne is a very *complex* person. Neither all good or all bad & that would make her a fascinating subject for an interview. Regardless of how the judges said they were concerned about her age, I thought she was pretty and dressed nicely. Btw I love Jess!

What’s funny is I noticed the different clothes and interpreted it differently at the time: that she had tried to call him over multiple days. Like the editing as if she was being sneaky. But yes watch the clothes because that can really contribute to narrative with these confessionals. Later seasons they seemed to clue into that short of when they’d show a confessional where the girl still have a lot of makeup because they just got back from the photo shoot
