Former America's Next Top Model Cycle 10 contestant Allison Kuehn reflects on her time on the show. Allison talks about fight with fellow contestant Fatima Siad regarding some of the comments made that some felt were racist. Also, Allison talks about how the moment gave her PTSD and scared her from doing a Top Model interview until now. Allison Kuehn reflects on living with Elyse Sewell, former Cycle 1 contestant, in Shanghia, China after her stint on the show. She also reads a journal entry from the diary she kept during her time on the show.
She also shares stories about a bathroom incident with a fellow contestant and living with Cycle 1's Elyse Sewell.

I found it so respectful how Allison protected the identities of some of the girls with the more embarrassing stories and with the most personal details for what Kimberly was dealing with. It's always so nice to get to see more of a real, full person in these interviews and to get to see past the original edits and roles some were given. Thank you both for the great information! For me, I was so much more interested in Allison as she is today rather than the Allison on ANTM... and wow was I impressed - she comes across extremely thoughtful and articulate with no pretentious qualities... and she looks great... nice follow up moment for her. Good on u Allison.

Oliver, I applaud you for reaching out to Allison and giving her a chance to speak. I'm surprised that this chat happened, but I'm very glad that it did. Allison made a joke that was abhorrent. At the same time, I do believe that 15 years later, it's okay to give her a chance of redemption. Today, I see a grown woman taking accountability and showing genuine remorse. I hope she feels better after this chat because at a minimum, my opinion of her has drastically changed for the better.

Adult Allison (because she was just a baby before) is still drop-dead gorgeous- classy and well-spoken. I really appreciate her apologies and accountability- as well as her honesty. I think Allison looks like a nighttime soap opera star- like a person who'd be on a show like Dynasty- she just has that elegant look. She'd play the rich, daughter of the main patriarch who everyone is jealous of. :) Excellent interview.

Allison has become such a mature, intelligent, beautiful woman. The show clearly exploited and took advantage of young naive girls for the ratings. In the second episode, they had a former model on (Paulina) who trashed talked the girls and called Dominque a man. Kimberly quit because she wanted to be a model, not to be verbally abused on a reality tv show. Allison has to own her behavior/actions (and does) but also seemed in part set up, nervous, or pressured to make comments that would be contentious.

I think the "explanation" seemed drawn out (other than her talking too long lol) is because she didn't present it with a lot of charisma or energy. She was literally reading from a book like it was a lesson in TV production. Who knows, maybe she thought this was a way to explain why she came off as condescending, or she truly thought this was what people would be interested in hearing. Maybe it was a way to control the interview. At least it was... different?
