Never in a million years did I think watching this would make me feel understood and heard and someone who’s suffered with anxiety also and the talk of alcohol contributes and everything I’m so relieved to hear someone I find entertaining to be this vulnerable and show people what it’s like xxx thanks liv

What you said Liv about drinking alcohol to numb everything for quiet, wow that resonated. I say it to my therapist all the time, that I crave the numbness that drinking gives. I have used drink in that way, and now I don't drink anything. I think about it a lot and it's really fucking hard sometimes. I've also recently been (finally) officially told I have combined ADHD, and trying not to have imposter syndrome about it. I am alone, and I feel alone. But love your pods.

Listening to your reaction of exams made me cry. I was exactly the same and have never heard anyone else describe it this way. I remember my entire body shaking with a panic attack in the exam hall. Diagnosed with panic disorder at 17, but now I have a young son with possible adhd, I’m starting to wonder if I do too. Thanks for sharing. ❤

I am gobsmacked at how much I relate to the ADHD experience Liv had at school! I was always told off for daydreaming and couldn't emotionally cope with that either. I don't have diagnosed ADHD but always thought I had tendencies of this as well as anxiety :) very important to talk about!

OMG same!!! Alot if what Liv talks about is so relatable to me especially all the school stuff 😢 I'm not diagnosed but definitely think I have some tendencies ❤

Thank you so much for sharing your experience with ADHD, I got diagnosed when I was 7 and it wasn’t really heard of then so even tho I had a diagnosis there was no support in schools and the medication only calmed me down but everything else I had to deal with myself, now as an adult it’s effecting me differently, it’s a constant struggle x

Loved this episode ❤ I’m mid 40s waiting for a dual ADHD and autism assessment and can relate so much to your childhood and teen experiences. If only it’d had been more known about back in your childhood and mine x x
