Interesting that in an interview a year before she said she was moving to Australia for good as 'nobody wanted to live in LA anymore'. So after buying that gorgeous farm in Australia, she only moved back there for six months. I think Matt pushed to move back to America.

What a life Olivia had touching hundreds of millions of peoples heart and we felt hopelessly devoted to her and her songs but she has now returned back home, to the source where she and all of us originate from. She may be gone now but not forgotten as she still lives on through her golden voice, songs and the cancer center she founded.

I am 41 years old and, my dear Olivia, you have been my inspiration and accompanied me in the good and the bad moments, in happy and sad ones, since I was 14 years old. I can't imagine a world where there is no you, but you will forever live in my heart and in my thoughts. I know that someday we will share the same time and space once again. In the meantime, rest in peace, wherever you are. The world is a better place because of hearts like yours - because of people like you! And the echo of your unique and phenomenal voice will always LIVe on... You are love and light! I will always love you, Olivia. 💙💜💚❤🤍💗

I was amazed to see how, well, simply human she was. She reacted so naturally, and actually seemed to enjoy interplay with fans and interviewers. Some of her songs show that rare quality. Being all dressed up and cosmeticized is different. She spent her last 30 years dealing with breast cancer and still continued to work towards making the world a better place environmentally and healthwise.

People like Olivia make a difference in the lives of others, even despite her own struggles she never stopped working for others less fortunate, with a disease that she herself suffered, until it took her away.

When I was eleven years old in 1971 Olivia made her first UK TV appearance singing her first hit 'If Not for You' (fabulous Bob Dylan cover) and instantly fell madly in love. My mother could not drag me away from the TV at my grandparents' house until the song was over. I was mesmerized and stayed madly in love with her for her entire career. I moved to the USA and live in San Francisco so on my 40th birthday in 2000 I took the shuttle flight to Las Vegas and treated myself to her Vegas concert. There I was this forty-year-old grown (gay) man sitting on my own crying with joy in the seats at the front. Just a little bit. She sang for two hours and was pitch-perfect. Wonderful woman.

Thank you so very much for this wonderful mint vid. I had goosebumps from Olivia's reaction to the fans. She's so engaged with the two young Brits. I don't think he cld be heard, but the young man summed it up. "Her music has brought him/ us so much happiness". 💙 N- J 🎶 The fairest of them all .

Everything you have written is so true..She was the epitome of Grace when she walked on this earth. I thought the young man said it perfectly, ("your music has brought me such joy" )...I wld be frozen silent! A part of me REALLY thought that Olivia would beat this & live to be a beautiful old woman. 73 is too young.. Such a loss for her family ....& the world. It feels like I have lost a part of my optimism? God Bless this lovely soul.

Watching this again, ( & again😊),...@3:30, Olivia 's humility is real. They actually, as Olivia says"makes her feel choked". So much fame, so much lover from the world over, and she remains sitting there composed, but with tears welling. I hope Olivia knew in her heart, that she was so truly loved and will always be What s sweet, dear soul. I'm so glad you have shared this joy. Such love. May this wonderful woman Rest in Peace. This video shows 5heessence of why Olivia was so loved and it makes me so happy, (than you boys for having the courage to say all of that), but this also breaks my heart . When Olivia was taken away, it made no sense that the world had to lose one of the kindest souls that the world has known. She is such a sincere, refined, humble lady here. Breaks my heart 💜.
