Great to see your reaction in honor of Olivia. For people in my age group that were running around in the 1970s and 80s as little kids and teenagers...Olivia was always there. Her songs were on our radios, playing at the roller skating rinks, the list is endless. She was part of our childhood. Rest in Peace wonderful woman.

Same here Shane, I am absolutely smashed and devastated. After I saw the news very early Tuesday morning, I couldn't stop blubbering uncontrollably and my legs were very wobbly. It's her soul and her character and her wicked humour that I love about her. We all know her for being a natural warm, genuine and sincere person, without even meeting her. She's known as Australia's sweetheart for a reason, well many reasons. She's our Livvy. We love you Liv. RIP free from pain.

Believe it or not, your reaction here is like a eulogy; SO spot-on and SO appropriate. Thanks so much, Brother, for your ministry. (And make no bones about it, what you’re doing here is a MINISTRY) … As for Olivia, this song and this album made its way into my home, via my older sister, when I was a little boy, and because of it I became a lifelong hopeless romantic … So to you, Olivia, and to all our beloved artists of that era, from the apostles & queens of Motown, to the singer-songwriters like John Denver to Jim Croce to Harry Chapin, THANK YOU FOR ALL THE LOVE & ART & MEANING to this life that you gave. God, through you all, gave color, hope and so much joy to our lives … As for you, dear sweet Olivia, we’ll see you on The Other Side 🌈 You are now & forever free, our songbird Sister.

“Let Me Be There” was the first time I heard Olivia Newton-John singing when I had my car radio on, since that time I have been a fan of her’s. When I saw her on talk shows through the years, she was always bubbly and had such an infectious smile. In 1992 was when she was diagnosed with breast cancer, since that time, it’s been an up and down situations with her fighting cancer. She did not hide this from the public. Olivia took the bull by the horn and started to learn everything about her cancer and was so out there with what she was going through with the public. To me she was a symbol of triumph’s with dealing with her cancer for 30 years. Rest In Peace Olivia.

Olivia Newton-John was an was my crush since the early mid 1970s, at the age of 7. The voice and heart of an angel! Pure beauty, inside and out. I, finally, was able to see her in concert, August 28, 1982, during her Physical tour. I was front row, at the Richfield Coliseum, in Richfield, Ohio, and was able to give her a dozen roses, during the concert. I was 14 at the time. It was an early birthday present from my parents. It's a memory that I have always held close. Out of all the concert shirts (over a hundred), from the 80s, I had, her Physical Tour shirt is the only one that I still have to this day. My wife and I danced to Suddenly, as our first dance, after our wedding. Prayers go out to her Olivia's husband and daughter. Rest in peace Olivia Newton-John. You deserve it. Your fight is over, and the heavens won a beautiful angel.

Hey Jamel from So. Fla. Yep 73 is still too young. Poor lady suffered a long time. Thanks for honoring one of the legends of my youth. I'll always remember this radiant beauty and her sweet voice.

This was my very 1st album and Olivia Newton-John was my first celebrity crush. I slept with this album next to my bed. I was 12 and had young boy dreams about her. Natural beauty, natural voice, sincere and genuine. What a woman!

Olivia Newton Johns music was beautiful as was she & as you said Jamal...natural beauty...thanks for doing a tribute to this awesome artist!!! My son was a teenager in the late 80's & he loved her!! He bought one of her albums & played it often...he died in an auto accident in 1992 when he was 18 & her album is still on his stereo from when he played it last!!! RIP OLIVIA

When I was growing up I honestly thought she was the most beautiful woman I had ever seen. I really got into her music after the movie Xanadu (crappy movie but she was so stunning and the soundtrack was great) and her voice was just as beautiful as that face! To know that she was just as beautiful on the inside as she was on the outside almost seemed impossible. She is a legend and we will never forget her!

To my last day I'll always believe that the '70s was the single best decade for music. Among other things, it showed what real natural talent is. RIP Olivia. Your music uplifted us.
