Ok. This sounds corny as HELL [and I'm a 48 yr old man], but everything about this woman gives me goose bumps! She is COMPLETELY appealing as a woman, as an entertainer...SIGH!

Look how much emotion she puts into her performance, no stupid choreography, just good vocals and all heart! This should be required viewing for today's pop stars on the right way to give a performance on stage!

In 2016... whew... I had cancer, sepsis, another stroke, sleep apnea, and a heart attack. I'm only 53 years old. Through each and every episode I sang this song to myself. Olivia has been my favourite since I was 15 years old. She has just the right words to pull you through.. Hafta believe we are magic. Just sing this song to yourself. YOU are the only you that you can depend on. Give it a go. Sing this song to yourself because you DO matter.

This song is second to none when it comes to conjuring a magical and romantic atmosphere... the live version's intro really plays up the mystical allure of the song to unprecedented heights.

I noticed the same thing. 80s music is lyrically more interesting. Maybe that's why so many of us still love these songs.

Even with Olivia being my favourite artist of all time, the words of this song TOTALLY pertain to me. I have been gay bashed and left for dead, I've lost jobs, I've had 2 strokes, HIV, diabetes, a heart attack and more. Ahhh…. who cares right? LOL!!! But THIS SONG, since way back in the 80's has pulled me through every journey. "HAFTA BELIEVE WE ARE MAGIC"!!! HERE I GO AGAIN!!! LOL!! It works every time. I'm a strong person. Use it for yourself. It's worth every effort!!!

"From where I stand, you are home free, the planets align so rare, there's promise in the air, and I'm guiding you". Very difficult to find a line such as this in anyone of today's songs. Minds back then semmed much more deeper.

I had a huge crush on Olivia... I have never seen this clip and it is remarkable... no auto-tune or lip synching and she hit every note right on key. And Oh My ... I do not know who is on electric bass guitar but he is a superlative master of that instrument.

Pops Popwell - formerly of The Crusaders. I brought my daughter to see her on this same tour in Baton Rouge, LA. I was not really expecting much - but I was really impressed with her vocals and with her band, which was led by Sax player Tom Scott, with Carlos Vega on drums, and Michael Landau on guitar.

Olivia is one of my favorites. I've always felt that most of her material was below her vocal ability. She did an album called Gaia, (I'm not sure it's spelled correctly)just a few years ago that was remarkably vocally athletic. The girl has pipes and we rarely get to hear or see it. Oh did I mention she's one of the most beautiful women I've ever seen? She is...
