WH doesn't have the footage, but she did lift 120/151 at US Nationals at the end of June. She can definitely hit some WRs in Paris this Friday

I love how Meredith Alwine, the woman whose place Olivia is taking, seemed genuinely excited and happy for Olivia. That's sportsmanship! I'll be surprised if Reeves doesn't set at least one world record in Paris, now only three days away.

Kate Vibert, the other USA athlete that Olivia overtook for this olympic slot, basically said in a recent documentary (The Final Attempt series on youube) that despite being disappointed in not going herself, Olivia is one of the sweetest, kindest ppl, and everyone in the USA team essentially recognizes Olivia as a once in a generation type of talent and that it's amazing to watch and be apart of. Highly recommend that doc series, goes deep into the inner workings of the team USA women and the tribulations they've been thru during this olympic quad

Olivia is definitely in my top 2 or 3 weightlifters who l am most excited to watch in these Olympic games. I am also excited about what Hampton Morris might do, but l think my most exciting 3 are Lasha, Carlos, and Olivia.

Her heaviest pull/ Deadlift is her heaviest Clean pull. Imagine how much her Clean would improve if she got her Deadlift (with high hips) up to match her squat at least, about. 225kg. Also, if she got her Bench press and Press up it'll fortify her Snatch, especially controlling the pull during the 2nd pull to turn over and overhead position. She's got so much left in the tank.

It's an unpopular take, but I believe Olivia succeeded because of her low training frequency and volume, not in spite of it. Everyone else is basically screwing themselves up being chronically overtrained and have to do all sorts of wacky stuff with peaking and periodization becuase they are in the gym doing the lifts way too much.

This unassuming next door girl is proof that the US isnt even trying to find talented lifters. We have more gyms and fitness addicts in this nation by number in the world combined. We have a ridiculous amount of CrossFit gyms that teach Olympic lifts. The US should be an Olympic lift factory.
