I'm happy to learn about Olivia visiting the donut shop. Sounds like Olivia, first because she's such a sweet person. But also because she's such a caring person. The context was, Olivia had skyrocketed into success while Chappell of course had been let go by Atlantic, and Chappell was having a hard time, scraping by. To make it more awkward, Dan Nigro helped Olivia achieve her success, but he had been been Chappell's producer first, and with him Chappell had just started to find her new sound (Pink Pony Club) when Atlantic fired her and broke them up. Chappell had some very down times. Nothing about all of this was lost on Olivia, of course. A number of people rallied around Chappell to help keep her going. Olivia was one of them.
