I wash my hair once a week too, but I have really frizzy hair, it’s hard for me to curl my hair like you, since you have more straight hair and it’s easier for you to manage it. Thanks for the video

When you wash your hair dry it completely, then section by section straighten your root. After that, divide your hair again in small/medium sections, pass the curling iron once on each piece as if you were straightening the hair to eliminate some frizz & then curl the piece. Don’t touch the curls until you are completely done..! I have thick curly hair and this is how I’ve always done my curls. I hope it helps!!! ❤️

before i curl each section, i run a straightener thru my hair to tame the frizz. it only adds a few extra mins and the results are worth it! also the manuka honey line by shea moisture helps tame the frizz in my hair! i’d suggest trying it out. 😊

I’ve tried that but after it’s been straight my hair doesn’t hold the curl, it loses the curl in just a couple of hours. I have long and thick hair, and unless I curl directly, the curl won’t say. Just an fyi. Hair spray before heat will damage your hair. You’re better to get a heat protectant that will hold your style. Also use a heat protectant always!

I can’t wait to try this as someone who’s been using her clamp curling iron as a wand for years 😂 Also I’m confused about the crimp part and the direction you do it. My friend is a hair stylist and she’ll actually curl my hair in different directions on each side using the same curling iron you have but they’re never crimped?? I don’t get it

you just have to change the direction that you put the hair in the clamp. the reason you get crimps is because when you put your hair in the clamp, you turn it towards from the clamp so it the hair bends the opposite way from how you're curling it. for curling towards your face, place your hair in the clamp from the back of the iron. to curl away from your face, place your hair in the clamp from the front of the iron.
