I think people forget that MOST stories have some kind of romance subplot but its not the focus. Like hunger games isnt dystopian romance, but there is a romance/love triangle in it. Its not a romance subgenre just because there's a love story in it.

@@carb5074 I think most people would consider acotar fantasy romance. Fantasy romance is when the main plot surrounds the romance and the characters getting together. Just because there is a couple does not mean it is fantasy romance. Think a normal romance book that happens to take place in a fake world

I’m so glad a booktuber I follow is finally reading Crimson Moth!! The way you described The Phoenix King I think you’d enjoy Heavenbreaker if you haven’t read it already! It too was heavily marketed as a romantasy but really it’s more sci-fi fantasy. It too is slow paced but with a lot of action.

omg how exciting!!! I think if you want a kindle to feel like reading a real book (size wise and font being bigger but still about a page size), I recommend the kindle scribe. but if you want a more on the go, the newer paper white is so nice!
