I've been married almost 23 years now and listening to him speak about his love for you is quite incredible. After 24 years together and 4 kids later, I'm still lost when she's not close by. My love is getting stronger every day and I thank the Lord for it. Keep that passion and drive. Be intentional. I'm proud of you guys!

Nearly 50 minutes of just a pair of soul mates telling each other how much they love each other lol. That's quite the unique experience. So many people in the trans community are terrified of potentially detransitioning because they don't want to lose their lovers or friends. This video expresses the very real possibility that that won't necessarily happen. There is life after detransition. 🧡

Daisy, your detransitioning videos were recommended in my feed, but I went back to older videos. I'm not far into this episode, but I'm happy for you to have found someone rich in maturity. He seems to appreciate the way you reflect grace and goodness and he also mimicks grace and goodness in his own way. I am encouraged to press on in many ways from your emotional intelligence and gentle attitude. You delve into layers and nuances and angles of different perspectives with such a balance of love and Truth. Please be wise and follow whatever choices you're led to make, but I cherish having this channel to watch.

When Jason articulated at 40:00ish about how the parents feel when a child is growing up and the deep sense of loss that occurs at each growth stage hit me right in the heart. I’m a mom of a 26 yo male who is transitioning. The tug of war on my heart to simultaneously want to accommodate and grieve brings tension. I want to support but also cry. Celebrate their ‘freedom’ but long for their ‘return’. Put to death my son and raise a ‘daughter’. These are difficult choices to make as a parent. I don’t want to bring more heaviness to their life so I carry the load of sadness so they can figure out their own life without worrying about mine. Thank you for sharing your journey. I just now found your channel and I’m grateful.

KZbin threw you guys up for some reason. I watched this video as well as the one in which you explained why you were detransitioning as well as sharing your faith in Christ through the process. That said, it's amazing to see two people who just accept each other for who you are, regardless of gender/sexual orientation issues. Your love and acceptance for each other is lovely. When you asked about the "loss" of your breasts and your voice.... my heart broke. Yet, hearing Jason's response was just so beautiful. May God bless you for your honesty and transparency.

You guys are so cute, and so many of the thinks you’re describing were how I felt in the relationship with my now-husband. I’m a woman, so we didn’t have the trans issues as a „topic“ but I had just come out of an eating disorder and self-harm and also had to navigate a relationship with a changing physical self, and accepting the physical signs of where I‘d come from. And he just loved me. It’s a really powerful thing, and I hope that your relationship continues to blossom and evolve ❤️

I'm pansexual and many things your partner says deeply resonate with me. People never seem to get when i try to explain to them that I don't care about the gender of a person. If you called your love unconditional, then people would understand you,. Sex (male/female) has little to do with gender, which is why pansexual doesn't make sense.
@couch_philosoph3325
@couch_philosoph3325 3 жыл бұрын
@@lavinder11 firstly, pansexual doesn't mean unconditional love. I still need to feel some kind of attraction and unconditional means that you love a person no matter what they do (and i think that is too big of a label to put on myself). Pansexual does make sense because it means you like a person regardless of gender. Whether that person identifies as a male, female or binary or if that person changes I do not agree that people would understand me if i said unconditional. Because unconditional can be used in a non-romantic sense (we often say we love our children unconditionally) and here i am talking about romantic love. I am not some saint who has no needs or boundaries in a relationship. I will not love every romantic partner for the rest of my live unconditionally. Pansexual simply means you can fall in love/have attraction and sex with people regardless of their gender. That is not the same as unconditional love

I'm a little late in commenting here. I've never met a man with so much insight, sensitivity and able to express it like Jason. Your love for Daisy shines, and has also helped me to see how real love accepts the person you love (when you really love the other person). I really appreciated how you expressed the hard work that Daisy has done in asking the hard questions of 'who am I'. I remember doing this when I was really young, and today Jason showed me how that is an important step for every human to take. Jason, you have shown me that I can also show more love for my fellow 'man' or person, whatever their expression is. Your explanation of how documenting one's life is not selfish, really helped me understand better, as I did see it as paying too much attention to ourselves. Well said. Keep taking care of each other.

This is one of the most beautiful and genuine videos I have ever seen and I am incredibly thankful for both of your perspectives! I love the idea that our “mistakes” even if they have long lasting effects shouldn’t be looked at as if they shouldn’t have happened! Because if you really think about it, that is the quintessential reason God put us on this earth; to know the bad so that we can fully embrace and deeply understand and appreciate the good. I also think this helped me to distance myself and others from my and their mistakes in a healthy way; like my mistakes aren’t a death sentence to my personal character or to others; like I can grow from that and in reality God is ultimately using them for my good in his ultimate wisdom. It finally made me understand them when people say that in the good and the bad, God is leading my life for me and for my good even if I don’t understand it or appreciate it, or if I have deep regrets or damage or PTSD. I will be applying that to my own life. I am a life long Christian and you guys taught me so much even about myself, so I thank you so very much for sharing! It means so much to me on a personal level. You guys are such beautiful people and I feel blessed to have witnessed even a small part of your remarkable journey. I accidentally found your page earlier today. I'm so glad I did. Your story, your journey are so powerful. Both of your insights, self awareness and introspection is inspiring even outside your personal stories. It takes incredible strength to truly listen to yourself and change what you need to or accept or...tbh I don't know the right words. I just know that I truly hope life brings great things for both of you. I think I needed to see this today for some reason. I have my own struggles, different than yours, but no less real and something that was said in this video about Jason looking at you and really seeing you for you no matter the outer trappings spoke to me. I remember when I looked at my (now) husband and felt that. I can tell anyone exactly when that was (well not the date but where we were and what we were doing and what he was wearing).Which is weird for me because that's not how my mind or memory works, I don't see "pictures" or scenes or visual depictions when I remember, I see words on a page. Anyway that statement you made spoke to me. I really believe that I needed to hear that. I'll remember that in my heart forever.

I'm detrans like you but a lesbian and wow the stuff about wanting to have biological kids with your partner just crushes my heart. I have so many of the same thoughts as Jason, and I have never heard someone else say them out loud or so articulately. That homosexuality requires mourning for that which can never be--a child from both lovers. I'm just so sad. I love my female fiancee so much and could never be attracted to a man but wow, the fact that we can never have that just hurts so much. I followed long ago for unrelated reasons but man that piece of commentary just killed me. Godspeed my friend.

You are a fascinating person. Not in terms of your identity or anything like that, but in just how open and insightful you are. It is such a rare and valuable thing for someone to have such self reflection and be able to critique their experiences it in a way that's so eloquent and respectful. Watching your videos helps me understand things about myself and my human experience that I didn't fully understand or have the language to express, just a familiar and constant feeling. I wish more people would speak as open and freely as you do, free from judgment and hate, just pure experience and feeling. Also Jason's super cute, so happy for the pair of you :D

Wow. Jason, you gave me a lot to think about but I am so happy that you have found someone who is willing to match your openness, empathy, and inquiry, Daisy. And I am so happy you found someone who is able to see that vulnerability and those insecurities and be able to lift you up through them. Not to lean into the pun but I think it is really evident even in this video that the two of you bloom around one another. And it is so beautiful to see two people to be truly transcendent and inspired by their own love. (Also, Jason, just some really interesting philosophical content here - I've been thinking about returning to childlike state as a returning to the primordial Buddha and being able to see joy and kindness in all things recently!)

You two are WAY intense. As if life needs to be given meaning to have meaning. I pray you two get to experience peace, relaxation, acceptance, and happiness. You are amazing and accepted. Time to find meaning in other things of life other than gender and identity and not even worry about identifying as anything but a being. ♥️

Really? A girl who transitioned to become a boy, who again transitioned to become a girl all over again, with a deeper voice than mine. And a (gay) guy who apparently don't see this as a potential problem. (Who knows maybe 5 years from now if she/he/she would become another "thing"?) No thanks, the world is already full of god damned shitty parents.

Thank you for articulating the dynamic of the enjoyment of being with others being recognized as being less with understanding the fruitfulness of developing self relationship in solitude as the way to enjoy togetherness fully. How you said what you said answered a complex question that few ask well and many ask awkwardly and ineffectively. This is a video I will watch and listen to again. Alpha Jesus Omega. The Way. The Truth. The Life.
