Nearly 50 minutes of just a pair of soul mates telling each other how much they love each other lol. That's quite the unique experience. So many people in the trans community are terrified of potentially detransitioning because they don't want to lose their lovers or friends. When Jason articulated at 40:00ish about how the parents feel when a child is growing up and the deep sense of loss that occurs at each growth stage hit me right in the heart. I’m a mom of a 26 yo male who is transitioning. The tug of war on my heart to simultaneously want to accommodate and grieve brings tension. I want to support but also cry. Celebrate their ‘freedom’ but long for their ‘return’. Put to death my son and raise a ‘daughter’. These are difficult choices to make as a parent. I don’t want to bring more heaviness to their life so I carry the load of sadness so they can figure out their own life without worrying about mine. Thank you for sharing your journey. I'm pansexual and many things your partner says deeply resonate with me. People never seem to get when i try to explain to them that I don't care about the gender of a person. @lavinder113 жыл бұрын
If you called your love unconditional, then people would understand you,. Sex (male/female) has little to do with gender, which is why pansexual doesn't make sense.
@couch_philosoph33253 жыл бұрын
@@lavinder11 firstly, pansexual doesn't mean unconditional love. I still need to feel some kind of attraction and unconditional means that you love a person no matter what they do (and i think that is too big of a label to put on myself). Pansexual does make sense because it means you like a person regardless of gender. Whether that person identifies as a male, female or binary or if that person changes I do not agree that people would understand me if i said unconditional. Because unconditional can be used in a non-romantic sense (we often say we love our children unconditionally) and here i am talking about romantic love. I am not some saint who has no needs or boundaries in a relationship. I will not love every romantic partner for the rest of my live unconditionally. Pansexual simply means you can fall in love/have attraction and sex with people regardless of their gender. That is not the same as unconditional love

I'm a little late in commenting here. I've never met a man with so much insight, sensitivity and able to express it like Jason. Your love for Daisy shines, and has also helped me to see how real love accepts the person you love (when you really love the other person). I really appreciated how you expressed the hard work that Daisy has done in asking the hard questions of 'who am I'. I remember doing this when I was really young, and today Jason showed me how that is an important step for every human to take. Jason, you have shown me that I can also show more love for my fellow 'man' or person, whatever their expression is. This is one of the most beautiful and genuine videos I have ever seen and I am incredibly thankful for both of your perspectives! I love the idea that our “mistakes” even if they have long lasting effects shouldn’t be looked at as if they shouldn’t have happened! Because if you really think about it, that is the quintessential reason God put us on this earth; to know the bad so that we can fully embrace and deeply understand and appreciate the good. I also think this helped me to distance myself and others from my and their mistakes in a healthy way; like my mistakes aren’t a death sentence to my personal character or to others; like I can grow from that and in reality God is ultimately using them for my good in his ultimate wisdom. It finally made me understand them when people say that in the good and the bad, God is leading my life for me and for my good even if I don’t understand it or appreciate it, or if I have deep regrets or damage or PTSD. I will be applying that to my own life. I am a life long Christian and you guys taught me so much even about myself, so I thank you so very much for sharing! It means so much to me on a personal level. You guys are such beautiful people and I feel blessed to have witnessed even a small part of your remarkable journey. It takes incredible strength to truly listen to yourself and change what you need to or accept or...tbh I don't know the right words. I just know that I truly hope life brings great things for both of you. I think I needed to see this today for some reason. I have my own struggles, different than yours, but no less real and something that was said in this video about Jason looking at you and really seeing you for you no matter the outer trappings spoke to me. I remember when I looked at my (now) husband and felt that. I can tell anyone exactly when that was (well not the date but where we were and what we were doing and what he was wearing).Which is weird for me because that's not how my mind or memory works, I don't see "pictures" or scenes or visual depictions when I remember, I see words on a page. Incredible. This wasn’t coincidental. He shared about the character “Daisy” he wrote about? The Lord had His hand on both of you! Daily the Lord becomes so real to me when I hear stories like this! ♥️

I like how Jason made it definitive and clear his place in your life. Glad you met a great person.

Daisy has such perfect skin, the cutest nose and big beautiful eyes. She reminds me of a pretty little pixie! 😊

This sounds like the deep conversations my husband and I have when we’re stoned. Minus the Bi, trans de-trans stuff. Meaning 2 souls inlove regardless of genders.

okay, but daisy. You are so incredibly beautiful 🥺

Really? A girl who transitioned to become a boy, who again transitioned to become a girl all over again, with a deeper voice than mine. And a (gay) guy who apparently don't see this as a potential problem. (Who knows maybe 5 years from now if she/he/she would become another "thing"?) No thanks, the world is already full of god damned shitty parents.

Thank you for articulating the dynamic of the enjoyment of being with others being recognized as being less with understanding the fruitfulness of developing self relationship in solitude as the way to enjoy togetherness fully. How you said what you said answered a complex question that few ask well and many ask awkwardly and ineffectively. This is a video I will watch and listen to again. Alpha Jesus Omega. The Way. The Truth. The Life.

You two are perfect for each other! And so incredibly intelligent. The two words that come to mind while watching this video are “redeeming love”.
