The BBC should be a subscription service. Is it fair that I like live sports and have to pay a license on top of subscription services? I never watch the BBC.

The current rules are extremely unfair. The BBC should absolutely 100% be made a subscription service to stop people getting stuck with subsidising programming that they never watch. I only watch streaming services or extremely occasional non-BBC on demand so I cancelled my TV Licence this year. Should have done it a long time ago really.

Good luck with that one for two reasons, @Hawkeye_2015. Reason 1: Monday, 3rd January 2022 is a Bank Holiday throughout the whole of the U.K. therefore TV Licensing is closed. Reason 2: You better make sure that you're not caught watching any 'live' television after you've cancelled your licence on any U.K. terrestrial channels otherwise you can still be prosecuted for not having a licence, can't you?
