What I love so much about "Dark Willow", is the fact, that nobody would have ever guessed that little Willow from season 1 would become the most powerful character of all. Absolutely brilliant character development, loved it ALL! Brilliant vid, brilliant song choice, Evanescence + Willow = incredible!

I thought I was the only one who rooted for willow during that fight. I felt that sometimes Buffy was so self righteous that she didn't empathize with Willow at all.

Cleapatra25 Didn't Buffy even admit that she thinks that she is better than her friends in season 7? I think so. Which is kind of ridiculous, I mean, why should she be better? Because she is the slayer? Please, Willow beat her ass like it's nothing.

4Tom4lepus4 Yes she did say that On Season 7 which is why her ass got voted out of the house in the middle of an apocalypse. Her self righteousness was becoming too much. But honestly she was kind of that way since season 2. She could have saved so many people had she Killed Angel during his first turn to evil. But she didn't yet she was quick to condemn Anya to death on Season 7.

Cleapatra25 I honestly couldn't stand the character of Buffy since season 6. I hated her in season 7. I mean, not killing Angel, okay, she loved him. But her "I killed Angel" thing was sooooo annoying. Yes, you killed Angel, but only because he was about to destroy the world. Willow overtook Buffy in terms of power since season 5. Willow could rip Buffy into pieces :P

I agree ...the one flaw in the Buffy character was that she was depicted as such a self righteous prude sometimes almost like the cliché cheerleader type we all knew in high school.. Willow is by far my favorite character from the show .. She broke her archetype in big way ..in a way no other character in the series did...If she had been the only character to come out of the apocalypse intact I would have been fine with it ...Xander was okay too but pretty much a one trick pony

So glad I got to watch this 1st time around , with no spoilers. Had NO idea what was going to happen, then , dead Tara, and oh hell.. best Buffy series ending ever (and even after it, leaving the whole "dark and veiny" issue until the end.

I really like the idea that an innocent Willow was going to be one of the most powerful villains against Buffy in Season 6. Or the main villain for season 6. Dark Willow would seriously beat/destroy all of the witches and warlocks from The Chilling Adventures Sabrina from Netflix. In my honest opinion. Of all of the fiction witches I'd be more nervous against Dark Willow lmao 🤣 Oh, and the witches from The Craft (The original movie) not the reboot. Lol They would be too much for the witches of Sabrina to handle.

Scream Queen 👑 Okay this bugs me (wait 4 it) Not Dark Willow's character....cause up untill Xander saving her (Totally out of character with The Season) Up until then I was rooting for her (so why do I keep seeing Utube Vids saying Who was Dark Willow for? Okay....So we're just gonna ignore the fact that Tara was killed in the previous episode? She was just murdered by Warren, we're just gonna ignore that like it didn't happen? Like her friends ignored her drug addiction (Its a metephor 4 heroin abuse) Cause Kai agrees with me, that if someone took me away from him like that, He had Every right to take his revenge. And I don't like the yellow crayon speech. That doesn't make things better, its just a Story from when they were kids about kindergarten. How is that a way to fix everything? Why does that fox everything in the finale? Again that just made a mess of what Was my favorite season.....And I really wanted the last Season 2 be awesome (except 4 Xander I don't care about him) Mostly because they completely ignored what happened The 6th Season and just gave him the hero route, NOTHING was resolved and I gladly moved onto AHS where I met my man ♂️ Kai AND got the family I Always wanted

Abby I think that every time I watch this fan vid ...If my wife had been killed the way Tara was ....and I was that powerful .being flayed would be the least of their worries. This is one of my favorite Buffyverse storylines precisely because Willow reacts the way a lot of us would if we could .I didnt the whole destroy the world thing.. I get why it was the climatic moment of the story but it was kind of corny and meant that storyline and done

I rarely cry during movies but Tera getting shot, Joyce dying and Fred's last moments (Angel) will always effect me. It's good writing when it still effects you after seeing it a dozen times.

Same. I don't really cry when I'm sad, but I make these really upsetting shrieking noises (my girlfriend legitimately questioned if I was human). Tara was my biggest comfort character (other than Willow) and her death made me feel like my heart was being torn into pieces and ripped from my body, somehow leaving me alive to suffer
