1:35 how can i make it so that adjustment layer affects only ground? i have more elements in the background and I do not want them to be affected by distortion

You can try to precompose the layer you want to distort and the adjustment layer, or you can try to apply the distortion effect directly on your element instead of an adjustment layer above it
