@54sunkiss1422 The only reason for this scene is that Todd is Todd. I'm very glad that every once in a while the audience is reminded off ALL facets of Todd's character - including the very scary, paranoid, not-so-much-leashed animal quality of his rage.

Todd/Victor has a lot of nerve speaking to Marty like that. Especially after what he did to her (The rape and the unlawful imprisonment). And he does sound delusional as hell in this scene. I do not think RH’s todd would EVER interact with Marty like that.

I love how when RH came back and heard how "Frodd" had set up a love nest with Marty. He was like "And NONE of you thought THAT was suspicious?" Leave it to him to bring up how stupid that storyline was.

I think" todd" was right about this. Patrick died even with another messed up timeline making Cole starrs age or older ? Marty left town pregnant starr was close to 2. Dont get me started on how old dani should be since she was born in 03 and should be 2 years younger than jack . I do think Marty came back to llainview to mess with todd. The real marty saebrooke still has the same twisted personality she had when she told a lie that made the whole town go crazy about Andrew and Billy's douglas all bc she wanted andrew and he was married to cassie . Who were Marty's friends that could be left ? Nora, Jessica andy. Viki kinda dropped her once todd was found to be her baby brother. Andrew ? Luna was dead. Andy never returned. As for jess and nora how did she know if they were still in town. Patrick died and whenever something bad happens Marty becomes self destructive. I was surprised she would rip cole out of high school away from friends he made at a time when his dad was dead . I think Todd's on the money here and I still think Marty did screw todd up on the fateful calculus exam feeding him.the wrong answers . An online poster years ago wrote a very intelligent post about todd and Marty that made this all make sense. I mean how could Marty really be thrilled as she says here that cole her only son is a teen dad. I know u love ur sons kid but u really cant be thrilled that hes saddled with a kid as a kid himself. Off topic to real life too bad brandon buddy who was a decent actor learning and good looking messed up his life at this time in real life. He was also dating kristen in rl when she was 15 and he 21 kinda inappropriate. I get they worked together everyday and he had a baby face that made him look younger but that's stat rape if they ever slept together. I guess kristen likes her co stars bc she started dating ghs chad duell on gh as well. They broke up when she left the show bc he didnt want a long distance relationship as she moved back to the east coast. Chad seems to have a rocky romance life he then married a girl divorced her and remarried again .

@@kennyfarrell3021 I know its victor lord jr but he is at this time todd as far as the writers thought & we thought. I actually really hate recasting iconic characters. If they do a straight recast fine but the new face pretending to be the person makes all the people they are connected to seem stupid. I guess they use the explanation " I wanted u back so badly that I believed plus they have the same dna being identical twins so the loved ones have to believe but I'd think for the guys lovers they could tell the difference. Tea didnt find it strange that todd was not having s3x w/ her ( until they were stuck on a deserted island) then he is banging her & having rough sex every day ? Tea did not find that a big change? I mean I guess in this case it was a way to make it that todd & marty really never did the deed which drove away a lot of viewers when the show could not afford that. Also victor as todd never really bothered with viki of all people. His closest person always. Whenever their was trouble w/ blair or tea , viki was always there. I mean jessica immediately believed that roger was todd bc of how victor didnt care she was tess.

@@natalieps2387 no I agree, I think Victor was clearly different then Todd, first off, he was MUCH MORE violent, I don’t think even Todd would hit children, secondly, Victor raped Marty and Todd I think genuinely wanted to make peace with Marty, but Victor wanted her dead. Also, remember Victor was “special”, so I think he acted out in ways that a special person would at times, irrational and not in control.

Todd ' s first redeeming quality for viewers was how good he was w/ cj & sarah & he risked going back to prison for life after all the crimes he committed after the rape. He saved cj Jessica & marty & started to tell marty he had regrets for the first time. Todd could get snarky w/ marty but no way would he ever deliberately hurt her again by tricking her into having sex with him by taking advantage of her amnesia. I remember in one of the best Marty & todd scenes ( I was nothing but a monster ) he apologized sincerely for the first time. He also said to her " can we just learn to co exist in this town. Not get in eachothers way. I wanna get off this wild & crazy ride we have had " he just never ever would have made some love shack for them. Also todd never wouod have gotten so rough with starr that she wound up falling down the stairs. When she fell victor was so nonchalant about it too. He never would have slapped marko a teen or beaten the crap out of teen cole. Victor as todd treated starr like crap & favored dani over her. One thing that the writers did that was genius was at the " reveal" of todd ull notice victor goes up to Starr & starts guilt tripping her out & pushing her to totally accept he is her father & todd while real todd was only concerned that starr was ok. Awesome touch. Also victor seemed to hate blair. Right away todd gravitated towards blair & I loved at the dna reveal when todd & blair were both in sync calling Victor's set up with Marty a love shack. I love those touches. I also loved how Jessica really was the first one to totally accept that roger was the real todd. She was the first one saying she noticed things were very off & then told viki " I never felt close to this todd " she even had his back when she said " u take care of ur twin I'll take care of mine " she would not have said that to an imposter. The reason I think it was cool that jessica accepted todd right away was bc I think she loved her uncle but was not as close to the situation as viki blair tea starr etc so she could make a more logical conclusion. Plus I'm sure the women I mentioned might have felt guilt that they did not know & that they welcomed a stranger instead of going against science & going with their gut so possibly they would have kept looking for todd who suffered for 8 years. A lot of todd fans pointed out also that trevor may have wanted to make todd all his own & that's why he as an actor proclaimed in the press he hated the tnb dynamic & always pushed for todd to be in a rekationship with anyone other than her. He also made acting choices that even erika slezak who is all class mused were bizarre to her. Trevor purposely tanked his scenes with blair. Even though the lines called for something the inflections & body language can be more powerful than words on a page. I think he knew Roger's todd had been part of a super couple with blair so he wanted to go away from that to make his own imprint & not be compared to roger as todd w/ blair. Same as Starr. Roger's todd worshipped his princess shorty while trevor 's todd treated her like crap. He also did lines in a way to not mean the lines on the page. For example he put nothing into the story's to starr they were said with zero feeling.

@54sunkiss1422 I'd say the things he said and did to Marty not only make him look bad, they ARE bad. ;) But no, I know what you mean. It's kind of a natural thing on this show for people to first blame Todd for something or at the very least implicate him, also when RH was playing him. (Barbara's rape for instance, Georgie's murder) I often think TsJ is too good for this show but, ironically, not on days like yesterday when he actually gets to play TODD, the king of shooting himself in the foot.
