You have shown more than Documentaries on Olympia have such as Nero's Villa and the museum. Excellent

I agree, there is a lot more to Epidavrus beyond the Theatre

Brilliant video! Thanks! The museum looks very encouraging. Having just left Nafplio and still recovering from my day trip scampering around Acrocorinth, I would agree with your comments about sites closer to Athens. I found Epidaurus fascinating and left with a better understanding of their healing practices Presently in Kalamata for a week and was hoping you could suggest whether to make a Olympia day trip from Kalamata or Patras Thanks again

Glad you are having a good time. If you are in Kalamata and have a car got to Ancient Messini, maybe 30 mins drive, and I think better than Olympia. it is up in the mountains and a little hard to find, but the best ancient site in the Peloponnese I think, I have a Vid. The other place to consider visiting for a day is Koroni and maybe Methoni, about an hours drive round the coast to the west. Olympia is worth it, probably about 90 to 100. mins drive from kalamata, but I would personally choose Messini if I could only do one. Have you considered Areopoli? and Mani?

Please tell me you've been to see the temple of Appollo in Bassae in the peloponnese? Its a world heritage site, not many people go there due to its isolation but an amazing place to visit.

I haven't, but I will, I drive round there a lot actually, though and will definitely now visit and film, trouble is my ancient site vids don't generally do that well, which is a shame because they are really my passion. I love the suggestion, thanks. Probably be after xmas now though!! any other suggestions also be happy to investigate.

@@GreeceExplored Great to hear you will visit hopefully in the near future and I'm sure it will make for an interesting video. Last time I went was around 30 odd years ago. One thing I will never forget was the complete silence, I was the only person there! At that time there wasn't even a paved road for many kilometres.

Nothing round there is easy, but I bet it is easier than 30 years ago!! If I go in January I expect it to be pretty quiet. just need to pick a nice day.@@rebornitsybitsy7515

I’ve just been to the Olympic site and wished I had seen this video beforehand. The signage at the site is rather sparse and can be misleading. Oh, discounted entrance for seniors over 65 is only for members of the EU.

I hope it wasn't too wet? I know the weather was terrible there yesterday! for Greece anyway!

We’ve been extraordinary lucky with the weather - 30 minutes of drizzle while driving. Delphi was heavenly.
