Olympic boxer Imane Khelif speaks out about gender identity controversy: "It affected me a lot"

Olympic champion boxer Imane Khelif has spoken out about the fear and hurt she experienced after being embroiled in a global debate over gender identity and sports regulations at the Paris Games.
"It affected me a lot, it hurt me a lot. I can't describe to you the amount of fear I had," Khelif said in an interview.
Following her first fight, rumors that Khelif was transgender or a man went viral after her Italian opponent withdrew from the match. Despite support from the International Olympic Committee, the controversy persisted, with prominent figures like Donald Trump and J.K. Rowling weighing in.
Khelif's lawyer has filed a legal complaint against cyber harassment and public insults based on gender and origin, targeting an unidentified perpetrator under French law. An investigation is now underway, led by a special unit in the Paris prosecutor's office.

@@shahinniyan I believe I am speaking the truth. I decided to enter the conversation because she's not trans. Assuming the test that started this all correctly identified the XY chromosome, she might be intersex. Being intersex doesn't mean she can't have ovaries, a uterus, get pregnant, and have a baby regardless of the XY chromosome. Before the test, she might not have even known about having the XY chromosome. I'm not saying there isn't a conversation to have, but this is not a trans issue.
