Late watching this, but loved the scenery. We were there 30 years ago...seems like yesterday. Intro and exit looked great. The dark pink letters are eye catching. Itching to get out and explore...and COVID! Eating up time we don’t have to spare.

We feel the same way about not having the time to spare... so we are traveling in a very different way during Covid. Thanks so much for watching and sharing you comment.

My wife was stationed on Whidbey Island when she was in the Navy. She loved it up there which is why when she retires next year we will be relocating to NW Washington. It will definitely be quite the weather change from San Diego but I am looking forward to the change of scenery. So, the next time you all make it out here to the pacific coast we will have to meet up.

A meet up sounds great. We will definitely go back as we did not get to see everything there was to see. Thanks for watching.

Travato is perfect for your travels out west, been there done that, will do it again. The downside is there are so many roads and so little time. Always about the time isn’t it. Having family out west seems to be a motivation to go back often, but the natural beauty will suck you in. Thanks for a great journey. ❤️🐕😎🇺🇸

We went to a lot of the places you have gone in Washington before we got on our cruise to go to Alaska Olympic National Park and Neah Bay. The rainforest was cool and we also went on a logging tour up into the mountains. Love the Pacific Ocean

Sometimes you have to make the most of the weather, we didn’t want to miss the rainforest and didn’t want to wait for the rain to stop so we went for it and I am glad we did. It seemed even more spectacular in the rain.
@lustraveller7175 жыл бұрын
Beautiful scenery, that tree was amazing and there's nothing like sleeping next to the Pacific. It must have felt so good to get back to the van, turn on the heater, start a pot of coffee, and get out of those wet clothes. FYI, Sequim is pronounced "Squim", they just run it all together. They have lovely lavender farms and have a lavender festival in July.
@VANTREKKINGlifestyle5 жыл бұрын
We was good getting back to the van to warm up with the heater and a hot cup of coffee, that is one of the many pluses of having the van with you all the time. Wish we would have known about the lavender farms, I love lavender. Thanks for watching.

So here I am, sitting outside on a cool December morning (livin' in the south has its privileges!), when I see your moss covered tree, and all I can think about is... will that tree be okay? Yes... you have taken an old curmudgeon and made him care about a tree... a freakin' tree! That's how much your videos matter. Keep on travelin'! I'm hikin' in the rain... I must be insane... Now THAT'S funny! Be seeing you!
