柔道って大柄な選手が戦う姿ばかりが目立つていた時代に 野村忠宏さんの様に小柄な選手が世間から注目されたのも、 4年に一度のオリンピックで、 3度も金メダル取れるなんて 凄いと言うよりも神がかってる様に感じます。 同じ日本人として誇りに思います。 野村忠宏さんの背負投は、 基本の取り方以外に、 独自の感性と負けん気で、 勝ち得た証ですね。 小柄だから、 敏速に技を決めないと、 相手に倒されてしまうから 戦いながら相手の動きの中の 隙を上手く見抜いてたんだと思います。 とても良く出来ている内容でした有難うございます。

Tadahiro trained at my college for a year in the early 2000's at SF State. I was lucky enough to do tandoori with him. Of course he was patient and kind with his skills against me. It was an honor.
