That's the wrong German unification map. The one you used is from 1989/90.

The US didn’t look like that in 1841. The map you showed was in 1845-46. It showed Texas as a state while it was a Republic from 1836-1845.

Well, Germany and Italy didn't look like today at their unifications either...

The 40 year old Female to win Silver in London 2012 Marathon was impressive. Yep she was 40 taking second and the person in front she won by a wide margin.

You got the United States map wrong. Texas was an independent nation from 1836-1845. Although you did get the shape of Texas right which is a common mistake.

The oldest Olympic participant was one WINSLOW HOMER who was entered by the USA in the 1932 Olympics at the ripe old age of 96, Oh and also he'd been dead for 22 years. A record unlikely to be beaten I think you'd agree.

The narrator keeps stressing that Queenie was the oldest gold medalist, but was she the oldest female participant? That Swahn was the oldest male one, regardless of results, seems likely.

No surprise that both these events don't require you to be in peak physical condition. I would be interested in seeing more about the older competitors who did more physical events.
