Our track and field history goes back for well over a hundred years mate - it didn't happened over night - thanks for your input. And if Jamaica had started to retain (scholarshipped by USA collegiate system) the many talents that graduated out of our system from say the 1960's and trained them at home we would've started blossoming from say the late 70's. But positively speaking I hope our government start implementing a sponsorship package for the field eventers because we have talents in this area that needs nurturing and resourceful support.

22 is a brilliant age to start your Olympics because if you stay injury free, focus and humble at 30 yrs old you can still take the gold. Because at 30 sprinter's graph usually starts to level out, some even peak afterwards like at 31 or if you're really strong at 32. But 30 is almost like last chance for Gold.I was sorry about SFP toe injury because I really believed she could have gotten gold as well as a PB - and remember that because of the injury her training was curtailed and she still produces 9.8's that's the evidence.

mcleod actually has such a stylistically different hurdling style than everyone else (only ortega is similar), when his lead leg is lifted to come over the hurdle it snaps up straight like a whip and his momentum just carries him over. full 180 degrees at the knee because of his flexibility. a lot of the other hurdlers aren't hitting that angle and seem to be lifting their leg up rather than snapping it up
