The truly frightening thing is, during his peak 2008-2012, we probably never saw his absolute best. Insane with the times he posted, I know, but he was effectively running against himself for all of the world record runs. He needs the first quarter of the race to get into stride, the middle 50 he is in full stride and taking 4 inches of his opponants and then he kinda slows down in the last quarter. Over each quarter he is taking 1 full metre off the next fastest and why he wins by such a big margin.
