Thank you Olympics, thank you Paris, thank you athletes, thank you everyone who has joined hands for this event. Paris 2024 is probably the most memorable Olympics of my life. When I watched the closing ceremony of the Tokyo 2020 Olympics, I was very excited to see the French people welcoming the Olympics back after 100 years. Time flies, just 3 years later, I got to watch an extremely emotional event. Paris 2024 is a beautiful memory and will never fade away in me. The French people, Paris, Olympics, athletes, fans, volunteers... once again, thank you all!

Beautiful Ceremony and a Beautiful Artistic Segment! The story of humanity being seen from an alien's perspective as it discovers remnants from our civilisation was such a unique and deep concept. About the story, Thomas Jolly, the director, and Damien Gabriac, the writer said they were inspired by Sci-Fi. They imagine a world where the Olympics did not exist. The character named "Golden voyageur" arrived on earth and found the remains of the Olympic Games and repaired these remains, like Pierre De Coubertin, the one who renover the Olympic games during the 19th century. Regarding the costume, It was worn by Arthur Cadre, a breakdancer and contortionist whose parents are both former athletes, his father had also participated in the Seoul Olympic games in 1988. To make the costume, the designer, Kevin Germanier, being a geek said that he was inspired by several inspirations like video games, Sci-fi, and more particularly the *"Voyager Golden* Record" which is a gold disc of recordings of the sounds of the earth having been sent into space in 1977. This disc contains music, nature sounds, baby cries, anatomical references etc... I also believe that this record is the title of the theme of the closing ceremony. Kevin Germanier was also inspired by the human body, because this is at the heart of the Olympic Games since Athletes work with their body, and he wanted to expose certain parts of the human body, both external and internal, from the bones to the muscles and the spine. That's why you can see he has a face that looks like a skull, his ribs and pelvis are also visible. The designer made this costume using upcycling, if I'm not wrong I think thousands of damaged pearl but also VHS tape have been used.
