@@msween6464 agreed, I wish I could’ve seen Shaun win one last 🥇and of course I’d like to think if he stuck that second 1440 on the last run that he was on his way to winning. But, nonetheless he is the greatest of all time and the biggest pioneer in the sport of snowboarding. Hats off to him for an amazing career and for doing his country proud! 🇺🇸🤟🥇

I know very little about snowboarding but I always stopped to watch Shaun in the olympics. Very exciting athlete, able to command an audience in the same way Phelps did, or Tiger, or MJ. Amazing to see how far the sport has come in just the time this guy has been competing. The difficulty level of tricks from 2010 til now has increased so much. He will be missed. Hirano Ayumu surpassed the legend in 2021. World records are meant to be broken as human species improve year after year. I look forward to witnessing passing of the torch in Beijing. White has nothing more to prove. He is the pioneer of the game. There will be better snowboarders than Ayumu for years to come. But they will all credit White for paving the path.
