the truth is.. you really dont get how much of a legend yuzuru is unless you see him with some of the other skaters, skaters who are already considered the best of the world, and he still manages to stand out. when i started liking him, i only watched his performance. It was only when I watched everyone else that I had a deeper appreciation of his talent.

Yuzuru is such a freaking legend...I mean he's real king, the greatest of all times. You can see this passion in his eyes while skating,it's not even skating, it's real ART. Every look, еvery movement,music, costumes, everything is just perfect. But what amazes me most about him, is his attitude to his work. It can be seen, that it's not about medals, victories, worldwide popularity or anything else. One can feel that he really loves it. Figure skating wouldn't be the same without him. And I'm very grateful to him for what he does.

This man: - survived from the earthquake in 2011 - leaving home to canada and struggling with communication at 16 - Asthma problems causing stamina issues - asthma attack 2 weeks before winning 2017 worlds - champion 3 months after an ankle injury that could’ve ruined his career - and so so so many injuries Yet he never stops trying, challenging, and being Yuzuru Hanyu. He’s truly the strongest fighter and never uses his weaknesses as excuses. He does everything to be the best of himself. I remember Kurt Browning saying in a commentary for CBC that Yuzuru had the body of a “perfectly built figure skating machine” - or, well, something along those lines. Tiny ribcage/waist, slim but strong arms (remember, Kurt has also said that he has a mean throw, since his father did used to be a baseball coach and he wanted to do baseball when he was a kid), long neck, artistic fingers (my parents have always said that people with slightly askew fingers are meant to be artists), muscle mass concentrated in his lower body and core, yet still he has lean legs, because when he was a teenager all the muscle he built was from figure skating alone, avoiding bikes and other activities that bulk up his thighs. He was always meant for this.

It always breaks my heart to see Dennis Ten & realize he had only a few months left on Earth. He was not only a wonderful athlete, but an excellent student who was preparing to do great things for Planet Earth. Tragic loss of a truly special young man. RIP Deniis. @@Nolixan Denis was murdered by 2 thugs who wanted to steal the windshiled wipers from his car. He was stabbed to death. .Denis was a brilliant skater & athlete but was studying politics & ecology & had tremendous plans past skating. to work to save the Earth. His murder left behind many broken hearts. I loved him & his passion & his dimples. Denis was one of a kind. Rest easy beautiful prince.

Interesting observation. I've noticed that the men tend to have less footwork and choreo because the elements they focus on are quads which are physically challenging. The women tend to have brilliant footwork and artistry. Yuzuru on the other hand seems to have a good balance of both artistry and athleticism.

Because Yuzuru doesn’t compromise. He wants techniques to be fully integrated in the programs. A FS program lasts 5.30mns and each jump takes 1s. Imagine the quasi nothingness if skaters only focuses on jumps. That’s why we’re more captivated by his programs than any other super quad programs.

I am awefully in love with Yuzuru... i have been knowing him since a while but i never actually knew his life that much. Recently, i watched a few of his videos and documentaries. Now i am regretting why i couldn't know him better before. I love you Yuzu. Truly you best figure skater and best influential person for me. If here is a good way to live a teen life, can't be better than this. Also, i have to admire your looks. Recently Jungcook was named most handsome man in the world. But for me, you have absolutely best male figure and looks. I am guy, i don't regret writing this lol. You are epitome of modesty, Charming, Talnted, Extremely Hard working, Highly ambitious, Absolutely skilled, Conquerer of hardships, Befriender of enemies, I have seen charts where the huge difference between points of #1 & #2 displays your actual might...
