I bought the same bundle back in 2005 for $600.00! Have recently taken them out of storage and equipping them with flash units now! Vivatar SF-3000, SumPak Digital Flash, both use only 2 AA Batteries! Am considering getting a couple of Olmypus FL-LM1 Flashes!

Did I miss the part for setting manual shutter speed & aperture?

To change the shutter, just spin the back dial, and to change the f stop, hold down the +/- button on top and spin the back dial. Cheers!

I have two Olympus E500 camera bodies one with a wide angle and the other with a telephoto lens 99% of the pics I shoot are of live entertainment at night usually with colored stage lights in the background! Using an external flash what setting, f-stop & ISO shutter speed do you reccomend recommend?

Oh gosh, that is a hard one as I have never done that, I would recommend you watch some KZbin channel to figure that one out.
