On my 84’ I have a 3” suspension lift, in the future I will be installing a 4” or 5” lift. When I did a extended cab conversion I ended up having to do a 3” body lift. I also had to raise the engine and drive train 3” to fix clearance issues. Would that allow me to have the engine closer to the firewall, giving me more room at the core support?

@@doomsdaydiesel wow that's awesome man Ive been trying to make my 4runner more efficient I was thinking of getting a fuel cell or lowering the car but no one sells coil overs for the 03 4runner and I haven't found a decent company for a hydrogen fuel cell kit just yet I appreciate your videos

I'm doin this swap on my 4Runner and I also plan on doing a SAS on it too. I have everything to do both projects, but should I do the engine swap first or do the axle swap first?
@chukbrown886 жыл бұрын
do the sas first. you will need to cut up your oil pan or buy one from joe. you need to know where the steering is going to be first though

What oil cooler did you use? I have a new factory cooler and I'm struggling to figure out what kind of adapters I need to use braided hose instead of the factory rubber hose.

What oil cooler did you use? I’m planning to switch from factory to aftermarket, and I want to convert to braided hose while I’m at it.

Joe Peterson Unfortunately I don’t trust anyone in my area to do the machine work. I wanna switch to an aftermarket one; which one did you use?

i have a 92 sas im swaping the om617 into and my front axle is 6 1/2 inches forward from stock. will your oil pan work for me? or should i just hack up my stock one
@chukbrown886 жыл бұрын
its 6 1/2 from where the center of the hub sat when it was ifs. yes its still on the front. the steering box was pushed as far forward on the frame as i could get it
