Great video and explanation, that last part to suction out the water was really great to learn! 👍 I did not find this video earlier today when I try to change the heating element but also realized it was not possible.

they are putting "pieces of the car" (in this case eletric heater for the diesel) on the consumables ( the filter) in order to obtein from the customer the same money (more expensive parts) despite the fact maintenance intervals are longer..

Do you think that OEM filter ( manufactured by mann) is exactly the same that Mann aftermarket filter or not?. In many forums many people say that the quality changes but i really dont know, one costs 50 euros another 140

good question....it could be that the filter you buy from a reputable supplier like the Mercedes dealer has actually overcame more strict controls than the Mann branded one that you buy for example online... Anyway If you buy a primium brand I am pretty sure the quality standards are ok and if you want to be more sure change it often..is cheaper so you can change when you want..
