This video was filmed months ago before Japan declared a state of emergency. I was planning to wait and release this video until after things returned to normal, but because of my last video about the current situation in Japan, many viewers requested an uplifting food video so here it is. I hope everyone is still staying safe with family during this time and I hope you enjoy another episode of Hold my Miso. @@etherdog This is really smart, I do it too! Not for any other country, only Japan. Some shops are hidden below street level or upstairs or just very discreet about signage so it's terrifically helpful to be reassured in seeing what the confirmed street view of the address is. HIGHLY under-rated tip which nobody mentions on those 'travelling in Japan' videos. Good one! :)

Bro, you are a lifesaver. A friend of mine will visit Tokyo for six months soon and he struggles with some bad depressions lately. He loves suhi and I had the idea, to give him a really good spot to eat traditional japanese sushi in Tokyo. Bad thing is, I have no clue about Tokyo or the japanese language and to find something was pretty impossible. Now I saw your video (twice, because damn that sushi looks awesome) and with your instructions and rating, I found the perfect present for him. Thank you so much. I will never have the possibility, to try this restaurant for myself, but you gave me the informations I needed, to make my guys trip awesome. I kiss your eyes.

I really miss eating at a restaurant and this video reminds me eating sushi when I visited Japan with my wife. We went to ten cities and eat sushi whenever possible. The best sushi restaurant we ate at was a very small restaurant in Ropongi and it only had ten seats. I believe that you have to make a reservation in advance and know the sushi chef. I want to visit Japan again and eat good food and maybe visit my brother in law's house in Tokyo. I normally do not visit relatives but, everyone is getting old and you never know if you will see them again.

Natasha's Russia I’ve never had sushi in Russia, but sushi in general are mostly the same with the same principle. The only difference is where the fish came from (Cold places like Hokkaido have best fish/sushi quality) and the way chefs make rice.
@Gektor454 жыл бұрын
@mikasalife4 жыл бұрын
I bet the fish would taste the same but the rice would be a bit different if not properly prepared!
@flufflepuffle4 жыл бұрын
@@DanielK1213th Well the thing is, it isn't. American sushi is completely different for example. Sushi has been in Russia since my grandmother's time (she reminisces about going to get sushi when she was young), and it could easily have changed to adapt to the local tastes and circumstances.

Hi Alexi. I’m from Canada too, but I’ve been living in Japan for the last 20 years. One great thing here is you can travel so efficiently between cities/regions! Tokyo is pretty amazing, because of the combination of modern urban sophistication and traditional culture. But my area, central Japan is also great because you can enjoy a more relaxed, deep cultural experience. And it’s easy to get between Nara, Osaka and Kyoto, which are all amazing too.
