@@Nassau_LungI couldn’t disagree more with ur opinion .. Omar was clearly too focused on getting Marlo’s attention and kids r clearly a no go considering he actually has morals. He wasn’t focused on what the kids were up too or could care less cause they usually wouldn’t pose a threat. But things change and the kids did too. He was u lucky but no one almost ever suspects a child of commiting murder. It was Omar’s downfall for acting out when he should of backed off when things were hot. He not only had a price tag on his head but the whole thing was his own fault. Acting ambitious and then being righteous was the very reason why he was murdered. It’s sad but unfortunately it’s a cold reality of what happenes across the globe. No one is innocent and even children r no exception. We can probably go on about this but the show has definitely portrayed levels to this that are very realistic. Bla bla bla and yea my bad for the paragraphs. Omar lived and died by the sword and the rest is history

“A man’s gots to have a code”. The irony of Omar’s death is that his “code” is what got him killed. Omar didn’t believe in killing civilians and kids. In the scene when Omar and Ronaldo were staking out Marlo, Michael came to speak to Marlo, Chris and Snoop. Ronaldo asks “who’s that?”. Omar replies “he’s just a kid”, basically disregarding Michael’s involvement because he’s a “kid”. Omar overlooking children as players of the game led to his fate. Michael eventually became a killer and tried to take Omar out in Monks apartment. And Omar disregarding Kennard when he walks into store is what caused him to lack and receive a bullet in the head. Omar should’ve had his guard up with any and everyone. Him being vulnerable physically (his leg) and emotionally towards having empathy for children led to his demise.
