I grew up watching Omar Sharif in his movies. Such class, and style and sophistication. His looks were unforgettable, those gorgeous eyes, beautiful tan skin, coal black hair. And a sexy accent to top it off. Total package, indeed. World class bridge player, owned Arabian horses, spoke several languages, and lived life on his terms, unapologetically. I was heartbroken when he passed away. I will always miss him. The Arab world can take great pride in having such a man as one of their own. He will never be forgotten. Blessings always to his son, Tarek, and to his grandchildren. And to his sister living in Atanta, U.S.A. Never heard about her passing, but I assume she has by now. Thank you Omar Sharif, for sharing yourself and your talents with the world. We all will always love you. Rest in Peace, Sir. ❤🙏

Sharif was to the silver screen what Selleck (Tom) is to the small screen...strikingly handsome, charming, sophisticated, easy going, and leading men par excellence, who, are/were great actors and interview subjects. Omar Sharif, like, his peers, the legendary Peter O'toole and Richard Harris, during their lifetimes, was a great raconteur, who, kept movie and talk show audiences riveted with his every word. Just watched him and Julie Andrews in the classic movie, "Tamarind Seed", which, lived up to the stature and star quality of both legendary actors. Thank GOD for film, so, we can take a wonderful ride down Nostalgia Lane and continue seeing and enjoying the phenomenal films of the silver screen giants, from Olivier to O'Toole, from Tierney (Jean) to Taylor/(Elizabeth), and from Stewart (Jimmy) to Sharif.
