In my view, what makes Omar's videos so good, is not just the amazing content but the really friendly, relaxed way he talks to us. He really engages with his audience and makes you want to hear more. A rare talent.

All of the above and also his funny sense of humour and his quick wittiness.

On top of all that, I think what really stands out is how much he shows the work, not just tells you about it. He doesn't just have example photos over his talking, either. But really diving in with his notes and diagrams really emphasises the details he's talking about.

Man, Omar - I hope you realize how many people you’re helping to become infinitely better, calmer, more confident photographers by so consistently, humbly, and clearly sharing your wisdom with us. It feels cheesy to say so, but your videos feel like conversations with a friend, and that’s an incredibly rare thing. Thank you for taking the time you do to share all that you’ve learned with the rest of us. I’m one of many people who are better, wiser, and yes - less anxious because you have! 🙏🏻

I'm a long-time subscriber, but have to confess I've been less consistent in watching given the number of Nikon videos - that said, this ranks at the top of your work. I will definitely point any newer photographers to this.

Your advice on light was very helpful. I don't take into account how much light bounces off colored surfaces influences the cast or temperature of areas of your subject. Also, after waiting your video on planning your shoot, I have used your Google Maps suggestions to help with vacation photography. I can advance scout an town I will be visiting for a limited amount time.

What you have shared will hopefully help change my game when doing the portraits as I'm mainly shooting bar/bat mitzvah's. It will also hugely help with my other photography work as well and make me think very differently now before pressing the shutter. Thank you 🙏

I love the way you explain everything with a taste of a "stand-up show".... watch every video even sometimes the ones that I'm not really interested in the subject too much. Love your positive energy... and of course I've learned a lot from your videos even though I'm a photographer since 20+ years. No end for learning. Thanks for the great effort (which I know needs much for such videos and explanations) and thanks for being there for us Omar. You are just great. Greetings from Istanbul/Turkey.

Bending your hand when checking the light also gives you a sence of direcction. If light comes from above you get a shadow in your hand. I.e the raccoon eyes...
