Trevor Noah needs more credit for being a fantastic interviewer. This was next-level shit. Gave equal time, asked tough questions, and was still respectful to the guest while being funny for the audience. Whatever your position on all of this is, that was a masterclass. We could use more of this on both sides.

When Jon Stewart left, l was crushed. But boy did he find a worthy replacement!! This is one of the best interviews l've seen with Omarosa these past few days. Trevor was mature, concise and asked ACTUAL RELEVANT questions. He didn't attack her or push his own agenda onto her. I dare say Omarosa seemed paradoxically comfortable yet still uneasy because she couldn't default into her usual defense and strike back mode. Well done Trev!

MAC B I do know the difference. An interviewer is having a conversation that has to flow; whilst the interrogator is just extracting info. both however are supposed to get to the truth and read between the lines to understand the nuances of what the person is saying vis-a-vis their past record rather than accepting all statements for face value. The interviewer is just a little more suave in doing it . Trevor did well but failed to challenge this woman's version of the truth

As a talk show Host, Trevor understands that the guest is there to promote/sell a product. In Omarosa’s case, she’s peddling a book, about her behind the scenes experience of working with Trump. She is presenting herself as a “whistleblower”. Trevor is allowed to ask, about the tapes that she’s releasing to help promote her book and the reaction from the White House/the President. The Journalist all come across like they haven’t read the book, because they start interrogating Omarosa about things that she covers in the book. She’s there to promote the book and it’s fair game to discuss the President Trump reactions/tweets and the tape recordings that she’s released.

@@nidhipaul1541 OMG, thank you for saying that about Savannah Guthrie. I ended up feeling badly for Savannah. The woman was so darn UNPROFESSIONAL, NASTY AND DISRESPECTFUL. So that is why I pitied her. No human being should ever treated anyone the way she treated Amarosa. And never a Journalist, never, never. But trump with his nothingness, open the barn door WIDE opened and told the world you can go anything you want to do to certain people, and BLACK PEOPLE is # 1. After that day, I came to see Savannah Gunther, as NOTHING, just another privileged white gal in trump's America!!!!

+ missjessie1985 Her laughter seems weird and fake to me. I have no doubt that Omorosa knows exactly what she's doing, but I do not forgive her for defending the man she's now turned against. She let herself be used, claiming the man is "racial, not racist," and now that her time in this White House is over she's changing her tune and admitting what all of us knew from the start. She was smart to make the tapes as they prove that what she claims is true - including that she was offered a payout to keep quiet - but there's no way I'm buying her book or contributing to the self-serving mess she's made. As far as I can see, Omorosa and Trump are two peas in a self-interested pod. They deserve each other, and that is not a compliment to either of them.

True and isn’t it sad that this is where we r at! When she was on trump’s show I didn’t like her and as time went on my opinion only got worse! She proved herself to be an opportunistic publicity hound who bends and manipulates the truth at will, yet when it comes to trusting one of the two, she comes out ahead. Let’s think about this: Omarosa is more trustful than the US President. Gross!

Trevor really a awesome interviewer. I was hesitant to watch. But I am happy I did. When all is said and done, she really handled herself like a titan. I think she have a fighting chance at getting the dictator out the Oval Office. For those that see the extensive damages the 45th president have done, have suffered enough punishment oh gosh. Question is who will clean up the messes he is making? 🤦🏾‍♀️ Life is too short for this nonsense.

Good Job Trevor for not being dismissive but actually letting her have a voice. Mainstream media isn't doing a good job at covering this story to me.. They've been talking over her, and they haven't let her speak or ask the RIGHT questions.. They keep trying to prove the validity of what she's saying.. But there are literally tapes, so instead of doing investigative journalism, they're attacking her for releasing this information. Also, Omorosa is a *FORCE*, and always has been. I never knew the woman's father was murdered, her brother as well. That certainly would destroy her mother and then she would be subject to those effects as well. I think she gets a lot of hate but she is who she is because she struggled and that's how she found her way out. Most people in the country who experience that never find a way out, most end up living miserably and then dying without ever becoming something. She's not evil, she is just playing a game and very well at that. The proof is in the recordings, she was steps ahead of every player the entire time. You have to respect game when you see it.

Doris G I couldn’t disagree with you more. The only person in history that I can think of that is one in the same with that despicable excuse for a human being is Adolph Hitler. Calling Omarosa one in the same as Trump is an insult. She may have flip flopped but she could have easily taken her 15k salary given to her after she was fired and sat quietly. Instead she chose to speak out. Albeit she is going on a book tour, that doesn’t take away from the fact that she is speaking out against that asshole. I’ve never hoped someone would be vanished as much as I wish he would. His sole purpose is to destroy this country. It’s appalling.

If people ignore them they will eventually fade out. The only reason she's speaking out is bcuz she gotten discard. A method they use against people when u no longer needed. Trump whole circle is full of narcissism. Cut throat people's driven by their ego and she was one of them. Don't be fool by her deceptions. Narcissists is good at fooling people. They are good at lying, manipulating and deceiving people who is blinded by false character. If they didn't discard her , she would not be reacting. Seriously though, I have receipts from college tuition payments from the early 90's in a box in my basement. They have traveled with me (along with other paperwork) from two different houses. lol. As a matter of fact, 8 after I left, I got a letter from the school saying I still owed them roughly 587.00. So, I sent them a copy of every single receipt I had and a cover letter addressed to registrar, president, and accounting departments that simply stated, "You do the math". I was pissed because I had gone through so much to get the paid in the first place. But I haven't heard from them since. In other words, you are correct. lol.

I see your point... And I can agree with you. At the same time, I believe she realized along the way the president was dirty but at the same time, she had the most to loose. So she kept quite and gathered the evidence to support her claims. I will say this though, Omarosa is not a saint by any stretch of the imagination but most definitely, a brilliant and very gutsy woman. She knew she wasn't the most credible, and getting people to believe would be a challenge. So now we don't have to believe her but we can believe the recorded evidence.
