OMD Future Yard - Meetings some fans and more. The long-anticipated small intimate OMD gig at Future Yard took place on Saturday 16th October 2021.
We managed to catch up with a few OMD fans but left it deliberately late before entering the venue as knew it was going to be busy.
And busy it was, like sardines in a can and it was obvious to those that we're aware that was causing some anxiety with a number of people attending.
The actual gig was just over an hour and it was a bit like a greatest hits festival rather than the celebration of the OMD first album. A couple of oldie non hits did get played, and Radio Wave and Almost along with Julias Song made an appearance.
It was good to be back at a live gig, and to see OMD again, but most definitely not the best gig by a long shot.
