True story two nights ago I was in my bedroom at 2am and a glass fell off my table. It was about 5cm from the edge no breeze no radiator heat ..fully flat sturdy table. VERY STRANGE! my auntie said it was likely some kinda earth tremor that wasn't big enough to notice but that effected the glass. Affected? Never know the right one to use. This song is great though.

Ich war 13 u. sah bzw. hörte OMD zufällig im deutschen TV 1982! Ich war wie elektrisiert. Am nächsten in der Schule fragte ich jeden Mitschüler, ob sie schon einmal einen Song von OMD gehört hätten:"Nö, kenne ich nicht!" War immer die Antwort. Bis auf einen Mitschüler, der auf mich zukam und mir sagte, dass er seit Jahren absoluter OMD Fan sei und alle Alben hätte. Er gab mir alle, wirklich alle Namen der Alben u. Singles, die OMD-Fanclub Adresse in Liverpool. Er hat mir alle Alben auf Kassette aufgenommen. Ich sparte mein Taschengeld u. ging nebenbei frühmorgens Brötchen austragen. Dann hatte ich das Geld um offizielles Ganmitglied von OMD zu werden. Ich bestellte drei T-Shirts. Und das Warten. Schrecklich. Endlich, nach einigen Wochen war ein Paket aus Liverpool angekommen. Meine Mutter gab es mir, als ich von der Schule kam. Trotz Riesenhunger lief ich in mein Zimmer u. öffnete das Paket: Ein Anschreiben, eine sehr schöne Ansteckbrosche mit den Initialen OMD, Origunalautogramme und meine T-Shirts. Am 2.2.23 sah ich OMD in D'dorf. Begeisterung pur. Auch meine 23-jährige Tochter war dabei und war zuvor schon OMD-Fan! Überwältigende Songs! Ich kann einfach nicht verstehen, dass diese edle Band nicht bekannter ist. Rapperin, die zu Gewalt und Drogenkonsum aufrufen etc. sind die Stars!! Ich habe jeden Augenblick genossen! Schade, das man kaum einen jüngeren Fan ab 30 etwa sah... So schade!! OMD ist ganz tief in meinem Herzen und nicht nur eine Band! Ich habe bisher sieben Freunde, Kolleginnen von OMD überzeugen können😅 OMD FOREVER ❤

You can really hear the Kraftwerk influence on this track, which is so fitting, considering their long history of influence by Kraftwerk. I gotta say, OMD has refined where Kraftwerk was going. I'm a fan of Kraftwerk, but OMD is on a whole next level! Awesome stuff, and I'm thrilled about the new album. Can't wait to see them live again sometime soon!

Today I'm convinced that OMD the very best Electric-Pop Band is. Andy always say, that Theo wer Fans from the german Band KRAFTWERK and many Inspirations Gott and a lot learned from Kraftwerk. The Electrician-Machine for to create the worlwide famoust Song "Maid of Orleans" was very extensive. And Andy and Paul made their first expierience in the Garage from Paul's Dad. But Kraftwerk never had any contact to OMD...Hhmmmm....

Went to see these with my son in Camp and Furnace in Liverpool where they were promoting the new album. He's a massive music fan in general and absolutely loved the gig. He's 24, I'm 64! Always loved OMD and the show was phenomenal. The sound was great and they opened with my favourite, Anthropocene! Brilliant, going to see them in March 24 in Liverpool, can't wait.

Time travel may be sci fi but I was taken back in time by this album, listening to the album charts to find out where it was. This song is complex yet simple. Theres the two different voices, then the singers, the beats going through the song driving it forward but proving space for the message, and that message is delivered in a way that anyone will understand with a finish that pulls no punches. It doesn't feel like 6 minutes. It's brilliant.
