This is a beautiful watch to be sure. However, the large size (almost 50mm lug to lug) and flare to the strap place it squarely in no man’s land. Omega has truly got a size crisis on their hands with their new movements. It would work well as a dressy all-rounder if it was smaller. As it stands I’m not sure what place it fills in a collection, unless you have 18+ cm wrists. Also it must be said that omega has used false advertising with their promotion of this watch. It looks significantly smaller than it actually is on Daniel Craig’s wrist in the ads. Omega knows this watch is too big so they’ve intentionally shrunk it in the ads. If you don’t believe me look for yourself.

Omega has gorgeous designs until they are on wrists less than 7 inches. Here is another reason why Rolex out sell Omega. Rolex mostly run from 42 down to 34, with most concentrated between 36-40. While Omega resides 39-44, with their most desired models clustered around 42-44. And there’s the heights of the two brands. I understand the co-axial movement is responsible for that bulk, but if they bragged about their technical innovations and something about being to the moon 50 years ago, then they are just a bunch of clueless nerds who bragged about gpa’s but can not understand why they can’t get a date. Bulgari, Nomos, Piaget combined have less years in watch making.
