I have to assume the animation locking is to ensure that effects happen in the order they're supposed to. Like, I can't think of too many instances where this would matter, but say for example you have the spellchain Shroud Spike setup with gorge Penumbra and the double gorge relic, but then you(for some reason) play Cannibalize on Penumbra - if the animation lock wasn't there it could potentially lead to a situation where, if you played Cannibalize in the middle of the triggers resolving, Penumbra dies before all his gorge triggers fully resolve which would leave the game with a number of effects to process targeting a unit that no longer exists, which can potentially cause a number of issues. Just my two cents as someone studying the programming side of game development.

yeah it's probably to dodge things going out of order, could also be bad if you play something like symphony of the soul before armor incants have all resolved, you end up with less armor, still i think that risk is worth not having to deal with 1 hour of watching morsel made eat morsels one at a time

With harvest rector the hatdest thing is keeping him healthy the quick sweep prevented damage

Don’t know if this is the path you take, but Channelsong could work wonders with the tomb unit. It would make it free, in addition to the extra hp.

You wanna see the real power of Rector, self infuse the remnant host with waxen snuffer 😁😁🤣🤣 I actually did that but rector was alone on mid floor, top floor was big sludge with stealth tombs!

I saw a self-infused Remnant Host run with endless and Waxen Snuffer with the money baron behind him. Almost generated as much money as Legion of Tax.
