Omega Red would have fit better with the origin storyline. Erase the Wolverine: Origins movie. Have Wolverine, Sabretooth, Deadpool, Maverick, Silver Fox, etc... go to Russia and face off against Omega Red. Multiple of them die at his hands. That is how it should have been. Old Man Logan was actually pretty good as a movie.

It's the Carbonadium The Poor Man's Adamantium What this does is its composition has this bizarre effect on regenerative abilities, basically rendering the power inert Deadpool's swords are made of Carbonadium on the off-chance he's dealing with someone who has regenerative powers

Yes. In one of the X-Men Comics, Omega Red said his tentacles were made of Carbonadium a more malleable version of Adamantium but not as indestructible. Wolverines claws are capable of cutting through the Carbonadium, but it would take a lot of strong effort.

The thing about Carbonadium is that it's a powerful anti-regenrative metal and it's an alloy of Adamantium while also being strong enough to clash with it for prolonged periods before deforming. It's essentially a weaker Adamantium but with it's toxicity cracked up to eleven. Then there is Omega Red himself. He has both a healing factor, a death factor on top of the ability to drain life. the first and third part is vital for his survival as without it he would have died a long time ago. What is why he needs the Carbonadium synthesizer to remove the metal's toxicity and not worry about dying and constantly draining people's lives. On that note it's possible that the concept of an Adamantium synthesizer could be a possibility to give Wolverine his full healing power.

@Philodox who cares if Red is strong? He's basically fighting against an anthropomorphic blender with unbreakable bones. Strength is not the same as skill. Wolverine holds his own against Hulk, Wendigo, and about a dozen or so other super strong guys, too. It all comes down to his skill and tenacity. Edit: Also, yes, Omega Red can die by getting stabbed and cut. That was covered in this video. He has been killed by Wolverine.

One of the things that puzzled me most about Omega Red is that in the comics, Rogue is unaffected by Omega Red, but in the cartoon series, she is. If you think about it, Rogue should not really be affected by Omega Red, since any living being that touches her bare skin gets drained of their energy. Since Omega Red also drains his victims of energy, that would mean that neither Omega Red nor Rogue should be able to drain each other of their energies.
