Definitely wish that Nintendo had included more about how Omega Ridley came about, and his post-Corruption transformation. They should make a couple books like they did for Zelda that delve into a bunch of bigger and smaller parts of the overall lore. (Though, they probably don’t think it’ll sell very well in comparison with other series’s books.) Keep up the amazing work Bro

Fun fact: The Omega Ridley model is actually smaller in size than the Meta Ridley model in Prime 3.

It is theorized that the models were actually swapped sometime during development. Not only is the 'Meta-Ridley' model larger in size than 'Omega Ridley's' model, but it also appears to be more organic, with much more obvious signs of Phazon corruption.

Funny enough, I believe there is a cut cutscene which is identical to the Omega RIdley introduction one in action sequence...The only difference is that it's Meta Ridley instead of Omega Ridley and that it's Varia Suit Samus instead of the PED...also the Meta Ridley in that cut cutscene is the same size as the Omega Ridley in the final product (aka not the aforementioned larger one).

and he is more on close combat and gets into samus's face then keeping far range showing that he must be filled with rage thx to the corruption he got

Or No. #4: Omega Ridley was able to vent away the Phazon before suffering the same fate as the other Leviathan Seed Guardians and fly away. This was relatively Retro Studios' explanation, however, because of numerous restraints, they didn't animate it, instead opting to just move the camera's focus from Omega Ridley's disintegration animation and to Samus, unlike other Seed Guardians, so if one were to control the camera to see what actually happens, Omega Ridley disintegrates just like every other Seed Guardian because his escape was not animated.

I was hoping for a thought of a space pirate civil war considering the fact that there was a sect of space pirates that followed dark samus & a sect that stayed loyal to mother brain. That would've been great. If that's even possible.

I really like how the background music fits the content of the video. At first getting more tense and filled with action as getting more information on how he might have came back and then the epic tune while explaining that he always comes back somehow, like some kind of legendary creature. Well done 👍 But I also want to mention that you sometimes speak so fast, it gets hard for me to follow. 🙈 But that could be due to me not being a native English speaker. 😅 And again thanks for the mention, really appreciate it ❤

The Chozo memories suggest that they were merely unearthed in what is known as Area 4.

The zero mission explosion was more that they didn't animate the body so they just left an explosion where the body just suddenly disappears

While not entirely canon, I love the idea of Omega Ridley being good enough to reform himself after his defeat. I now head canon that he figured how to master that Phazon power on his own, considering the possibility that other Phazon bosses don’t come back

Why didn't the spacebpirates give up on metroid cloning and just clone a ton of Ridley's? Would've been a lot easier. Also, just finished Super Metroid again. In light of the Prime series, is it possible Mother Brain from Super isn't the same one from Zero Mission? That it's a stolen, more advanced aurora unit or that it's an evolution of Metroid Prime, aka Dark Samus? Maybe Prime 4 will give us a good transition lore and shed some light on things.

Ridley is too smart and independent, having a clone army of him easily posses a problem for that reason. The abilities of the Metroids to drain health from victims offers an unconventional weapon that negates durability, plus the fact Metroids can only be destroyed when frozen makes them very hard to take down for most opponents.
