Correct me if I'm wrong but I'm pretty sure that (at 02:14) the "aggressive" is referring to the body modifications / improvements, similar to how you'd use "invasive" in relation to a surgery. I don't think they meant to say that Ridley itself was being aggressive towards the medic team

My theory is that it was the federation trying to create their own version of ridley because think about it someone like ridley is going to be well known a highly feared seeing a robotic ridley would be terrifying and possibly demoralizing seeing someone as ruthless and powerful as ridley the federation would have used it in their quest for power and dominance

Probably the most interesting creatures in video games.

I like the idea of sylux just being just some guy whos planet gets fucked up by the federation. And the story of prime 4 could be on his planet with there being a past and future mechanic. And Sylux goes back and forth with Samus showing her what the federation did to his planet slowly turning her againts it.

Noxus vs Trace would be great since they are from rivaling empires. Also Noxus vs Rundas would be cool since they are both ice based Hunters and are similar in appearance, almost like Retro wanted to use Noxus but since they were killing off the hunters in Prime 3 they had to make a new one so Noxus could be used later on. And Weavel vs Ghor, battle of the two cyborg Hunters that are mostly robotic.

Wish i Could play this game, hope they'll do a Switch port.

Considering Samus is a bounty hunter and is implied to be wealthy to some degree, it is entirely possible that she has a small shipyard at wherever she lives at that has the ships she uses and they’re used depending on the mission, like the more armed one for missions that might involve space combat, and the standard and purple one for missions that don’t really need much space combat

i think that's most likely. i also think he couldve been someone that was captured and experimented on, and had their planet destroyed by Samus and the Federation. Maybe he has sympathy for the Metroids, and is not trying to use them as a weapon...but trying to save them from experimentation. I think it's significant that they are from "Cylosis".

The 2nd ship is a remplacement for her destroyed ship the 3rd is a gift from adam (who solicited the federation to make it ) and the fusion timeline is a prototype that got added the IA (adam) and got given to samus because it was the only ship avaiable at the moment . She added later auto pilot but never used it because raven beak hacked her connection to the ship and she was in a position unreachable position . Then happened the X and the full metroid transformation

The point of the twist is that Raven Beak is the anti-Samus. Remember how the baby Metroid sees Samus as its mother? Samus never demands anything from the Metroid, but their bond is close enough that the Metroid sacrifices itself to save her. Now contrast with Raven Beak. He declares himself Samus’s father based on some genetic connection, and demands obedience from his “daughter”. But we never see Samus herself acknowledge or respect Raven Beak’s assertion, because she doesn’t see him as her father. And so she kills him.

I know he's a cyborg, but it seems obvious he was a human. probably not encountered previously in a game

If MB Android returns in the future she would be a great Rival for Samus if done right.

The reactor fix should have been an routine thing. If Ian is Sylux and very much likely he is. I hope he planned to fake his death so is not that terrible thrope where a character with a 0.0000000000000000000001 chance of surviving, somehow survives🤡 just because.

About Raven Beak being 'basic': Some people just like power and control, even in real life. Some people genuinely enjoy having power over others, and being able to excercise that power however they want. It's not unreasonable that Raven Beak is a Narcissist born into a position that fed his ego and enabled his behavior, especially since his culture already seems to value power anyway (And yes, there are various reasons a culture could come to value power). Pure evil villains are not some cardinal sin of writing that needs to be avoided at all cost, Hell, they're often used as devices for more sympathetic villains' origin stories, and also usually end up as the most flamboyant and fun villains *in* these stories. Ideally, it's good to have a variety of villains that range from sympathetic to irredeemable, same for heroes, but you can't blur a line unless a line exists to begin with.

If I recall, Fusions story was changed during the english localization. In the original japanese script, the ones who were working to clone the metroids were, in fact, a rogue faction within the federation and not the galactic federation as a whole, as it was implied in english. As a result, im sure Samus doesnt hold any ill will toward the whole federation, which is why she kept the purple ship in Dread.
