I haven't had an issue with mine. Probably just a defective figure you got. My nightmare spawn had a messed up leg that I fixed and I seen other reviews and they don't have that problem same as your omega spawn.

Own it. Mine is in good quality. Dont blame you wouldve been pissed too. I would email Mcfarlane store even though you didnt get from there. Did that when I bought a defective fig from Target and they shipped me one for free. Then return damage to Target and got money back. Free fig.

Reminds me of the time I got the year two Batman target exclusive figure and it’s right arm snapped out of the box I was super pissed and had to glue the arm back. I cant pose its arm and it sucks but QC issues are a thing and I feel for you man 😂

Wow 😳 I can speak highly of the McFarlane toystore fixing issues like this no problem, I received my red hood, scarecrow and joker today with one box crushed, sent pics right away and they've already sent out another one, same happened with cyclone, her leg was gummy and joint was broken, replacement sent right away. I've had replacements sent from entertainment earth too and I've gotten idk how many DC multiverse figures with fused or unarticulated footpegs that I've gotten from stores, hazmat suit batman with a shoulder slot not cut halfway for the peg to move fully, fixed myself with soldering iron and green suit lex came with a bicep swivel not cut Correctly and fell out of the package. If you get a hand or foot that don't wanna move, pop it out and check the ball, most likely it's fused together with no ratcheting action, I've had so many of those I think they should send extras in each box or offer them to buy in bulk because I've had some be so floppy they won't stand up unless you change them (i.e, the Arkham knight, my most anticipated figure of the year) I guess I have 100-150 multiverse figures so I guess that's not terribly bad. I started to buy a spawn figure for next to nothing at GameStop yesterday during their 50% off already clearance price but they didn't look as well made as multiverse even though they're made in the same factory I'm guessing but idk spawn characters so I passed thankfully lol nice shirt BTW clutch, what a great band from my young days,. Down's Nola was a pounder too🤘

Kyle, your ordeal reminds me of my experience with the DC Multiverse Build-A-Figure BANE from a while ago. The legs don't connect sturdily enough to the torso; the right one won't even attach properly. This defect renders the figure unable to endure handling-related stresses without losing at least one of its legs. While it's tempting to blame the manufacturer over in China for this problem, I think it results from poor design/engineering choices made right at home in McFarlane's Arizona-based headquarters.

This is the fourth review I’ve seen for this fig and only one person had no breakage the other two was just the left hand I actually picked it up and mine was fine so I think some qcs might have just slipped through the cracks

LoL I got my first McFarlane figure about a week ago; it was a Ghost-Maker. To be honest, I don't see what the fuss is about. Sure, Super7 has their faults, but the figure can't even stand on its own without the display stand. It will probably be the only McFarlane fig I will purchase. And with the accessories that Super7 throws in, makes it well worth the price. My Super7 Leo fell about 4' to the floor, and it didn't break. It sure scared the ish out of me, tho.

I buy a lot of action figures and it is very rare for a hand to break off or some other part to have an issue these days. It used to be a regular occurrence with NECA but they've gotten a lot better. Sure limbs pop off but they generally pop right back on. The point I'm making with this is the only figure I've bought in the last year that had a problem was a McFarlane DC Multiverse figure. It also had a hand break off right out of the box

It’s bound to happen in every toy line, especially massed produced. Although, with that said, I’ve only ever had one Mcfarlane figure break on me before. They’re overall sturdier than most figures, from my experience anyway.

Wow! I have to say that was disappointing. 50 bucks for both hands to snap right off. But, I've had similar pains to share. For one, that's why I don't buy Warhammer figs unless they are on clearance for like 5 bucks. They look kinda cool, but seem to made more cheaply than other MacFarlane figures. Secondly, I was so excited to finally get my pre-ordered NECA Bela Lugosi Dracula figure from BBTS the other week, but when I went to put his pre-posed right hand down it was stuck and I was impatient and it snapped at the elbow. Now it's a super glued posed hand just permanently holding the candle. That one really hurt because I couldn't wait to get it and put it out on display. Looks fine now and only I know it's glued in place, but I feel the pain.

It’s called “fair and accurate pricing”. This is what $50 gets you because these companies aren’t running charities. They’re not going to make figures unless they can make a profit. Hell, $50 is even generous considering the quickly rising cost of plastic, paint, and the fact that it now costs roughly $10K to get molds made for just a regular sized figure. It’s not “playing games”, it’s just a business doing what they need to remain viable, and in fact still only doing the bare minimum in terms of price-hikes. It could be much, much more substantial.

@@KylePeterson1980 I'm not saying that, but what I am saying is that with the increasing cost of producing these figures, this could be one of the first ones that's accurately priced. I'm fairly certain they've been taking a loss on some of these mega figures to keep them at $40. i run a business myself, not at the scale of mcfarlane toys obviously but I can imagine the kinds of losses they are taking to keep their prices low. It's worth it in the short term to draw in customers but sooner or later the prices are gonna have to go up. This one is most likely to sort of ease that in.

@@DerrickVanderspoon McFarlane isn't a charity? Wow. I was simply making the point that McFarlane might have to raise the prices on the $20 figures instead of charging more for the bigger figures. I'm giving my opinion as a consumer where I would pay more for the $20 figures. The $20 6-7 inch figure has pretty much disappeared except for McFarlane. But I won't pay $50 for this figure. “Fair and accurate pricing” doesn't mean anything if people aren't willing to pay that price. I saw the Cy-Gor figure sit on the shelves of the Targets I got to for months until they finally cut the price in half. She-Spawn, which was kind of a stunt IMO loading up a 6 inch figure with guns and selling it for $40, also sat there until they cut the price substantially. Not to mention that they seem to be cutting costs on production if the hands breaking so easily on this figure is any indication. I've never seen anything like that. I just bought two 4 inch scale wrestling figures with limited articulation for almost $100. I'm not adverse to high pricing but I assign a value to everything, especially now. This figure isn't worth it. I'd think about it at $40. But again, I'm not looking for McFarlane to give stuff away. I just think their strategy for staying profitable may be off. "Much, much more substantial"? Good luck with that.
