I've had this watch in the Orbis edition colorway for a year now. I love the clean bracelet and clasp. It's what I've come to now require from my next nice watch. The clasp makes this watch more elegant and crisp on the wrist, similar to the Rolex crown clasp that's only available now on the Lady Day Date or older model Day Date models. I haven't experienced any scratches and I wear this piece at least 2-3 times a week. It's such a satisfying wear that I am thinking about getting another with a black dial. For the price, this is a powerhouse of a watch. Very pleased with this purchase.

I have the black version and love it so much. It feels thinner than 14.7 since the back "sinks" into your arm but it is still the thickest watch I own. Besides that, everything else is perfect. I love that the date window on the black matches the dial as well

Love it. Looks a bit dressier than the Moonie and I think that is why they decided to go with the butterfly clasp.

I prefer the white dial Reduced without numerals as the dial looks less congested. I’ve had mine since 1992 but would definitely be interested in a newer version with METAS quality movement

That's going for the Daytona platinum look. The elliptical accents and date window are a nice touch. I'd have gone with a manual wind, to thin the case down a bit though.

I have this watch and a 7-1/4in wrist. If you buy from an Omega boutique, they will add the bracelet links you need at no cost. I typically wear 40mm, but this 38 looks good on the wrist due to the narrow bezel and more open crystal. Date window is a non-issue for me and easy to read.

I used to own this exact model. It was a decent watch that I enjoyed but could be uncomfortable at times. The chronograph buttons also didn’t give the best tactile feedback. Still a great design and look though. Plus it was slim for a chronograph.

The all black Speedy 38 isn't bad, but the ones with the oval subdials are just a bit too, let's say delicate. Most of the 40s are too thick too, I'm willing to deal with the modular movement of the classic Reduced to get better wearability.

I need a Speedmaster with 100 m water resistance. I haven’t worn my speedy pro in years for just that reason. A Speedmaster with 100 m water resistance would be a killer daily wearer for me

If only they made the seamaster 300 in this smaller size. I tried this on twice- fit like a perfect glove for my 6.24” baby wrist. Really thinking about getting this over the Grand Seiko White Birch I’ve been eyeing for awhile just because of that.

I have a 36 mm Leonidas chronograph from the 60s which my uncle picked up while stationed in Panama. The Leonidas is the right size. it's well past time for us to return to the proportionality of this size range updated to reflect current movement technology and water resistance. I realize that one might reasonably object to a smaller dive watch because of tool considerations but the 36-39 size range just looks far more in place and correct on a wrist of average size, 7", like mine. As a child of the space program I will never give up my Speedmaster Professional. I find this particular watch to be a bit overdone, too complex. Please review more modern watches in this size range.

I had the black version, good quality but i felt indeed that the case was tall and heavy, had difficulty to adjust well with the bracelet, if too loose, case moves a lot. Could not find a good adjustment, in my particular case. But well done watch

Not having an on-the-fly clasp adjustment is an instant dealbreaker. I think most folks looking at this watch are of the small-wristed crowd. These people especially benefit from having the adjustability of a glide lock clasp. They will be sorely disappointed if they buy this in hopes of getting a well-fitted bracelet.

There is actually a clasp from Omega that is available for this watch as an extra. It is sold as standard with the diamond bezel version.

I love the general look of the watch, and favor smaller watches and love blue so this should be right up my alley. But there are several nitpicks that make this a no go. Chief among them, the thickness, oval registers, and terrible date window. The registers visually look like they were squashed down. There was no need for that.

The heavily modified Valjoux 7750 (4th Gen) is a better movement to service compared to the one in the reduced.

That is a female watch, the sub dials are oval not a circle and the date window is an oval not a rectangle like on the men's watch. The racing 40 mm is the way to go. Almost got that watch in blue, or the Sedona gold with white face until I found out the oval shaped sub dials are for women. The 40mm is perfect imo.

I love the size but other than the black dial version these are clearly ladies watches. Very feminine designs.
