VALORANT just released a new map Abyss, and in the right hands it can be Omen's play ground. There are some crazy spots for teleports as well as one ways, so I put together an Omen guide for Abyss!

This looks like it's gonna definitely be a double controller + double initiator map. I could see some funny plays where Cypher trips freeze people mid air but I don't think it will be a map like sunset where it is necessary to have a sentinel

They won’t because u have ALOT of time before u fall off u can even do it slower. It’s 4 seconds from when u jump that more time than halfing a defuse if you think about it. Plenty of time

As an omen main, im scared that people will steal him from me on this map

My optimal comp as a theorycrafter: 1. Neon (quick rotations from odd rotation paths, lots of nice out of map skill jumps, very fast entry due to the buffs, fast follow up from initiator util). 2. Breach (Lots of long corridors in mid for free stun potential. Hard to clear rat corners for aftershock potential. Very large open areas for group flashes. This is by far the best breach map in the game calling it now.) 3. Harbor (yes not omen Im trolling gg ez I lost. No but honestly Harbor is better because of how open the map is. The cascade is one of the best ways to scale through the large mains where lots of team fights will happen and since this map is gonna be all about the post plant, cove is your best friend. Omen is better for the TikTok highlight clips). 4. Gekko (again post plants are your friends on attacker side, you gotta plant fast before rotations come in. Dizzy also clears a LOT of space, and Thrash is literally broken rn too. 5. Chamber (chamber’s back baby. Operator potential on this map is unreal. Trips aren’t really gonna be too helpful anyways since nobody should even go mid, but you still have one. Lots of get out of jail free card areas). Honorable Mentions: Deadlock (wall delays push for a LONG time for team to rotate over, gravnet is OP Sova: Drone can clear large open areas very quickly, and lots of cringe dart spots for reveals Omen: obviously, he’s got lots of TPs and his flash can clear the big open areas well, Sage: similar to deadlock, wall is annoying slow orbs are annoying, grim is annoying Agents to avoid: Yoru (tp’s will fall off the map you can’t just throw your tp anywhere), Clove (it’s a large map so if your Clove dies in any of the mains you’re forced to commit there, since there’s so many angles which you won’t have smokes for also the wide corridors doesn’t help the meddle)

I just saw a bug with your Phoenix and Jett where they planted on the bridge on A site and went below by using phoenix ult or your tp or Jett glide then playing post pant with a op below holding the bridge

This map feels more of a harbor map than an omen map. The sites are just too big and the curving wall covers much more than Omen’s smokes.

I feel like this map was kind of designed like pearl. A site works well for Orb smokers and B site for line smokers.

Astras stars will probably behave the same as omen because of the interface. But Brim and Clove use the minimap so they will work fine I assume.

Not that I saw, there's a (very small) chance they just didn't include Haven changes in the influencer build for whatever reason, but otherwise it seems like Haven is going to return the same way that it left.

she's still gonna die after falling a certain height but she can survive up to 30 seconds using airlift out of the map borders

I dont think this is gonna be an omen map, as it has similar chokes to pearl/icebox. I’d imagine astra or viper/harbor will be the picks for pro play
