There are a few reasons why Naruto won't kill Sasuke : 1. They need him to free everyone from Infinite Tsukuyomi. 2. Naruto said he'll break the Indra-Ashura cycle. 3. Sasuke is the last Uchiha. The Sharingan and Rinnegan would dissapear. It would create a whole in the ballance of powers that Rikudou Sennin created. Unless Kishimoto pulls new Uchiha people out of his ass. Also they still have Indra and Ashura powers. I mean Sasuke's Rinnegan was because of the Indra power. So it's logical that Naruto still has that Rikudou Sennin Mode.

I think Naruto saw this coming. He had no reaction when Sasuke said what he said. I'm just glad Naruto is in the correct state of mind for this final battle. Itachi gave Naruto the permission to take Sasuke down for good if the time ever came. But the problem with that is he needs Sasuke alive to save everyone from the tree. Everyone knows Sakura will interfere in this battle. Between the 3, that moment may play out just like Naruto and Sasuke's first serious fallout on the hospital rooftop. If I was Naruto, I swear I would want to break every fucking bone in Sasuke's body right about now.

And I think Kakashi might die. The reason is his symbolic interruption on the Hospital roof, where as he easily re-directed Naruto and Sasuke's Blow. But in this case, Kakashi isn't capable of stopping them with ease, and he might as well die as a human wall between the two. But I'm still skeptical, and it could go either way. But I believe Sasuke will die. Naruto can't become Hokage and Sasuke just sit there before him, when he Obviously has different motives. Just like Madara and Hashirama.

Why because just letting the biju roam free and not basically getting rid of them isnt going to change the fact that maybe in the future generations from now they might be captured and used as weapons again. But my take on it is that as Sasuke said, he is no longer bent on vengeance and wants to change the system ,maybe so that such bloodshed cannot occur, at least no as often. I am a Sasuke fan and I really loved this chapter. I want Sasuke to be redeemed but after all the time we waited, he has to have his own arc (well mini arc) for that redemption. This will be the best fight of all Shippuden. By the way there is no way Sasuke is dying at this point (or Naruto). Naruto said "I am not Ashura, Sasuke is not Indra. I am going to end this feud" and killing Sasuke wouldn't end the feud, it would just become another part of it. I can already see lots of bromance in this fight, with Sasuke ultimately accepting Naruto's hand of friendship and they go back (after an epic fight of course).

0nePieceGeneration You're right. I just don't get what FW likes. He gave obito vs kakashi a bad review because a scene was similar to the pain fight. Sometimes he is very subjective like with this chapter. The big problem right now is the Kaguya fight popped out of nowhere like google +. Something Kishi pulled out just for nostalgia of team 7. And now he splits them again for a fight that is forced and out of nowhere in a war that has dragged out for a long time.

Notice how Kishi is tying the knots back on part 1 stuff? With team 7 and their issues. I feel like Sakura isn't going to intervene since she can't do much, but if Naruto and Sasuke are injured who will she heal? I hope you're right. I can imagine her kicking him away if Naruto was down for a moment. Maybe she even has more jutsu we're unaware of.

It is so annoying to see one of the main casts just heal and punch hard. And I have to admit, her saving Naruto and helping seal Kaguya redeemed her a lot but not to the point where I can disregard her previous bad actions. And no, I am not a Hinata fan. Sponge Bond I do blame Kishi, but then let's think about it, did he write any female character decently?!! Except for Kushina and maybe Konan. Kaguya was a complete disappointment. This might surprise you but Sakura is my favorite character in all of Naruto. I tried to hate her many times but I can't. I see great potential in her. I just wish that Ksihi would stop making her a carbon copy of Tsunade. I want her to be original like Sasuke and Naruto and has her own jutsus. Kakashi said that she was a genjutsu type in part 1 and we are in the climax now and we have never seen that put to use. What purpose does it serve then making Kakashi say she was a genjutsu type!! All in all, I just want her to do something cool against Sasuke and stop calling him Sasuke-kun. He does not deserve her respect.

Unfortunately, for all you people thinking or wanting Sasuke to die, it's not going to happen. The only way to end the Infinite Tsukiyomi is to use Sasuke's sharinnegan, and before you say Naruto will do it, he won't and he can't. Naruto wouldn't rip Sasuke's eyes out of his dead corpse and implant it in his, and even if he wanted to, he dosen't know how to use the eyes. Naruto will most likely end of talk-no jutsu'ing Sasuke or something. Or, Madara is controlling Sasuke right now.

To the people who say Sasuke is making valid points, valid points?! Who the hell gives him the right? Oh let me guess he's a badass and is taking matters into his own hands? ***** Kishimoto mentioned himself that he did not know how Madara should've gone out. But whether it would have been black zetsu or team 7, you guys would complain either way. Most of the people Naruto have "talked down to" i.e. Zabuza, Nagato, and Obito payed the ultimate consequence...their lives. It is known that people change on the precipice of death whether it be right in there face, or around the corner. Kabuto was under the influence of Itachi's izanami remember? Because this technique was created to reprimand and save the users, the victim is able to escape the infinite genjutsu loop if they can acknowledge the real results of their actions and in doing so, accept their fate. I'm sure that's what Kabuto did, so there IS a reason. Orochimaru did not become "good" all he said was that he would go with what Sasuke wanted to do. He's still slithering out there like the snake he is. These days people don't know what they want, you guys complain that people get revived in Naruto but (I'm not sure if you are familiar with this series) in Game of Thrones almost every character dies and then people go and complain about that. Damn it. I can't say Sasuke is evil for this. I just can't, and he's not similar to Danzo at all. Danzo wanted to control the Leaf & do anything to protect it, even if it meant continuing war between the Leaf and other nations like he did in the Rain Village. Sasuke, with his plan, he's pretty much fighting for people in a way. His plan is similar to Zaheer's from Legend Of Korra Season 3. First off, we now know Sasuke doesn't want to actually become Hokage, he wants to take out all the leaders, start a Revolution, start a world where no one is ruled by a leader. That's not exactly an evil plan, he doesn't to take over the Leaf, or destroy it, he just wants to reform the entire Shinobi World, because of the past Hokages' fuck-ups. I thought this fight was going to be saved for the movie. We know Naruto will get out of this, so we better hope that Sasuke pictures don't get leaked, or else, the fight is ruined. I doubt Sasuke will die, because S06P said himself that Naruto & Sasuke's powers are needed to end Infinite Tsukuyomi, and Naruto always represented power from the body while Sasuke represented power from the eyes . And I better not hear anyone say "Sasuke betrayed everyone", or some stupid crap like that, he just helped defeat Kaguya. He could've left Naruto to fight for his own & not join the war at all, but he didn't, and he never would've gotten the Rinnegan in the first place if it wasn't for Hagoromo. Speaking of Hagoromo, I bet he planned all this. He just happened to not be able to stay around much longer once Sasuke started to put his plan in motion. And Sasuke told him his answer, Hagoromo knew about it *way* before hand, but he gave Sasuke the Rinnegan anyway. He fucked up big time. When I think about it, tis is Itachi's fault too, he the was the one that made Sasuke have second thoughts in the first place. Not to mention, in that Naruto movie teaser trailer, Naruto is in a desert. The only reason anyone is in a desert in an anime, is to fight. So, odds are, he & Sasuke are going to go at it again. And remember what Naruto said before the war, if he & Sasuke were going to fight again, both of them will die. So I guess the movie already ruins the fight for us, because Naruto is alive, and think about this, if Naruto kills Sasuke, that cycle will just continue all over again.

Sasuke isn't the boy he used to be, he's walked in darkness many yeas now. But I feel that killing him will not stop the cycle of hatred. Naruto has a way of changing people, countless times he has. I feel that while he will absolutely get some good hits in and beat the hell out of Sasuke he won't resolve to kill him. I don't know about a lot of other fans but I truly believe that Sasuke will wake up and change. So much death, violence, destruction, lies, pain, misery... The fight's not forced, it's been foreshadowed too many times. Sakura's tears and fake smile shows that she is aware that he still hasn't changed. Sasuke wanting the Bijuu/Ten Tails to be burnt away foreshadows that he has something else in mind. Sasuke not caring about Sakura and Kakashi when they almost got killed foreshadows that he wants them gone easily so that it's easier for him to create a "revolution". It all makes sense in the end.

Prediction!!!! (NOT MY PREDICTION!!! ALL CREDS GOES TO THIS GENIUS) This my prediction of Naruto v Sasuke. Naruto and Sasuke fight you know then some flashbacks are shown with in the fight. Naruto beats Sasuke but both are mortally wounded then Sasuke finally admits defeat. Then him and Naruto come together to release everyone. Then the wounds takes place and they both fall to the ground. Then Sakura will have to choose who she will save this will be her peak in her character development as her feeling will finally be revealed and she will ultimately heal Naruto while Sasuke loses to much blood but before Sasuke dies he gives Naruto the other seal and the two seals combine creating a new one. In one last moment Sasuke dies with a smile on his face thanking Naruto for never giving up on him. Naruto promised is fulfill because he brought back who Sasuke really was. The boy that admired his brother the innocent little Sasuke the boy before he was an avenger. Naruto then finally seal off Indra's chakra so he ultimately stop the feud between the brothers and end the hatred Indra harbors for Ashura. Edit:This is also kid of a bittersweet birthday as Sasuke dies, Minato went back to the dead and the war is finally over. This will show what the true meaning of Ninja which is one who must endure and Naruto will endure this tragedy on his birthday to top it off which also the anniversary of his mother and fathers death. This significance of this date will truly be remember through history. P.S. this will be Naruto first kill and most likely his last.

This chapter was actually very disappointing for me, I feel like Naruto and Sasuke could have had their fight over the title Hokage without Sasuke suddenly turning evil again and saying hes going to execute the current 5 hokage (when none of them did anything wrong to him or his brother at all) He's just trying to kill people for the hell of it now, I liked Sasuke during the war when he gave no fucks and would go at any lengths to win the war for the better of the village presumably but giving no fucks and wanting to kill more people for no good reason? I think of it as Sasuke and Naruto both being canidates for Hokage. Both of them have the same goals but just two different ways of reaching them. I honestly like Sasuke's approach more than Naruto's. Hopefully the battle is more intense than the others battles we have seen. In the end though, I have to side with Sasuke because he is just badass right now!

Thank you, I thought I was the only that actually read and understood the manga. Not only the manga, but Kishimoto himself explained this to us. Everything is hinting at no one dying in this fight. Sasuke and Naruto are connected, if one dies so does the other one and NO Sakura is not going to save anyone.

Raito CR7 I find it odd that people think Sasuke cannot be redeemed, but are ready to forgive Gaara, Orochimaru, Kabuto and lets not forget Danzo's sick ass and host of all other "redeemed" characters. Sasuke was not the only one to want to or to actually kill an Kage and live. Am I the only on that feels like Sasuke is kinda sorta right here? I mean, it's been shown in the past that the Tailed Beasts being around is just too much temptation for the whole of the Ninja World to abuse their power. Is sealing the 9 bijuu away a bad solution? CONCLUSION TO THIS FIGHT THEORY: I was thinking about this for awhile now. Naruto might fight him to the point of being near death, but Naruto might take his powers from him to save everyone on the tree. If he doesn't want kill him, he would have to do something like that.. The sage of six paths has his brothers mark on his hand so they might've fought for his mothers position and he might've took his powers too; by doing so, cursing his own bloodline (his sons) of the same fate. If Naruto takes Sasuke's powers, he can save everyone and free Sasuke of his burden of being an Uchiha.

It's not the fact that this fight is happening that's annoying, it's the way that it's being done. It's not a big surprise that Naruto vs. Sasuke would happen near the end of the story, but Kishimoto has basically treated his readers like idiots by presenting it to us as a 'plot twist'. In exchange for trying to make this more 'surprising', Kishi completely screwed over Sasuke's character development. Seriously before he randomly announced his intentions this chapter, can you honestly say you knew what Sasuke's motivations were, that you knew him as a character? He's become a completely inorganic character just there to fill a certain role that needs to be there for Kishi to end the story the way he (and fans) wants. And *that's* why I don't like this fight. Because while Kishi sure as hell hinted at this fight, he hasn't put in the effort to make us actually care about the people doing the fighting. Just because you foreshadow something, it doesn't mean readers are going to care about it when it happens. That is *not* good writing. tl;dr give us a reason to care about Sasuke and then I'll appreciate the foreshadowing

Well, unless he was to use Sasuke's eyes. But another thing to consider is the fact that Sasuke's model hasn't been shown in Naruto - The Last. That could be another hint that Sasuke possibly dies. I think that Naruto has really made up his mind though. There is a solid chance he has finally decided to kill Sasuke, and i think that if he can't convince Sasuke to stop no matter how much he beats him, he might actually really kill him. (which i am personally hoping for. LOL) And if he does kill him, he might break the jutsu by taking his eye. After all, he does have regenerating powers, so he could take Sasuke's eye, use it to break the jutsu, take it off and then regenerate his real eye.

Ultimately Naruto stomps Sasuke, we all know that. It's just a matter of Kishi making the battle a good one. He's already beaten the Rinnegan when he beat Pein. In fact, he could have (and should have) stomped Sasuke with Sage Mode back then when they fought. What Naruto said at that moment about not being able to beat Sasuke was so much hot air- a plot device to stay the inevitable beating until the very end. In any case, Naruto has displayed more power than Sasuke in the previous battle. Sasuke has the Rinnegan, Perfect Susanoo, Amaterasu, the ability to instantly switch places with any object in a limited distance, and his doujutsu overall has been boosted substantially due to Hagoromo's chakra (genjutsu is worthless against jinchuriki.) Naruto is currently the fastest shinibo alive, is technically the Juubi jinchikiri with at least half of all the the bijuu's chakra in him, has access to every element Rasengan including sealing Rasengan, has full bijuu mode ( half of Kurama alone is stronger than at least 4 other whole bijuu), he has Sage mode, and thanks to Hagoromo's chakra he can fly and apparently heal anything instantly like magic ( he healed... no, he gave Kakashi back an eye that didn't exist.) Naruto even has the advantage when it comes to perception. Sasuke can see anything with his eyes, even invisible objects, but he must actually be looking at it, while Naruto can sense anything for great distances in any direction... he has no blind spots. Imo, Perfect Susanoo and the Rinnegan + all his old jutsu aren't enough to beat Naruto... not by a long shot. I'm pretty sure Kishi won't just let Sasuke get stomped tho, despite the difference in abilities. This should be entertaining.
