I agree with you i wish they leaned into the mechanics of scrabble more. Building to certain tiles, boons that affect the board in more drastic ways. Would be really cool if there were little minions or enemies on the board you could take out by using a certain rank of letter on their tile during boss battles.

Not sure, but from how some things are worded it seems like it expects you to do multiple words on the same turn, like when you made "girl" you could have added "fool" vertically

No, its just standard scrabble gameplay, where you must play in a single line, but that line can be adjacent to another word to form two words at once. How that's supposed to happen in such short rounds though, I have no clue.

Makes sense, it very much throws me off the "you can choose your strategy, few long words or many short", there is no incentive in making short words since the turns are limited. Also the singularity relic that says "+25 when playing only one world" now sounds very weird, it's almost always except specific cases

Not sure if Olexa doesnt know the strat or if the game doesnt support it, but if you have a word like ZIG, and then next turn you put a S on it, you should be able to spell out a whole word with the S going the other direction so you get points for 2 words.

Honestly, game look really fun, but I wish it had more identity. It looks too similar to balatro, and while it definitely has a spin on gameplay, it looks pretty generic when it comes to design. Jokers, Tarot Cards and Planets are far more unique and on theme than relics and boons. Don’t get me wrong, I will probably buy this game on release, I just wish it had more… uniqueness in it. Without it, I think, it will be hard to gain more audience. Balatro and other games which achieved it had this potential because they felt new, unique and coherent.
