Johnny Taylor was badass. I don't think he ever got as much recognition as he deserved. I'm a big Stax Records fan. You guys should check out his hit song "Disco Lady". He recorded at Stax Records in Memphis, and music played by all of those guys in the "Blue Brothers" Band in the movie. Same people and musicians who played and recorded with Otis Redding and Booker T and the MG's. It's classic Southern Soul.

The American gospel group The Highway Q.C.'s helped launch the careers of several stars, including Lou Rawls, Johnnie Taylor & Sam Cooke in the 50's. Johnnie had a hit with them called "Somewhere To Lay My Head". One of his first solo hits was "Rome Wasn't Built In A Day" & later on "I Had A Dream", "I've Got To Love Somebody's Baby", "Who's Making Love", "Jody's Got Your Girl & Gone", "Cheaper To Keep Her", "I Believe in You (You Believe In Me)" & "Disco Lady".

If you think about it for every person out there cheating there's usually a person of the opposite sex cheating with them and they could be multiple people of the opposite sex so this guy is really giving people some Sage advice if you think you're the only one cheating the end result could be something you don't want like a STD or possibly even worse. This come out back right around the time when AIDS first popped on the scene even though they weren't really certain what it was yet it was there so this guy is pretty wise.
