Oh my gosh! This really is the end of S1, what an amazing insane journey this was. Dandadan is easily one of my favorite shows I’ve reacted and watched in awhile, and talk about a crazy cliffhanger! I can’t wait to learn more about Jiji and his backstory, and see his true potential. Behind his goofiness you can see there’s something truly hidden! Taro and Hana will forever have my heart, and Okarun is just the bestest boy ever. Ahhhhh! I truly can’t believe this is it, I can NOT wait for S2, it can’t get here quick enough. Enjoy the manga. From reading 0 manga ever, to catching up to all 170+ chapters in just a few days, I think it is the best reading experience (novels and comics) I've had in a long time. There are books I enjoy but Yukinobu Tatsu's occult/paranormal investigation, teenage/mannequin love story, alien crab family drama, epic Avengers level battle (you'll see) manga, and Tolkien's fricken Rings are books I love. @@cristianotsurudaprocopio8757 I was talking with someone else on this, and given 11 it was pretty hard to keep a hard cliffhanger without going all the way to Momo returning to the house If you want a cliffhanger anyway And I think resolving Momo's situation also adds some complexities as we need to remember the what's happening there for the things after But my guess before hand was that it would end with Momo finding Okarun and Jiji beaten on the floor

This is meant to entice not spoil. Sh*t hits the fan, folks - we all know this.

Or that girls are banned from wearing ponytails and have mandated types of underwear they have to wear? And the best place for women to gain money and decent treatment is by working in a hostess club? Japan is an extremely patriarchal society and is very sexist. This incident in the manga is also partially a comment on that cus the police are shown to be useless too.

I'm a little disappointed by how they managed the content of the episodes, I've been under the impression for some time that the series progresses very slowly compared to the manga, and that was a bit from the first episodes, I understand that it is the director's first series, and I don't think there was a bad job or that the anime was bad or anything, it could even have been due to a budget and occupational health issue, but perhaps with two more episodes at the pace they were going, this season could have had an appropriate ending considering what that they were going to adapt, and if it had to be 12 chapters by law, maybe they should have composed it with a little more scenes or speeded up the events by 0.15%, because that ending seems like chapter 11 that would be resolved in chapter 12

You are greatly underestimating the length of this arc. No matter where they ended it if they had 2 more episodes, it would’ve been bad. The best place they could’ve done it is BEFORE the serious events popped off. They ended it right as it began, which means the season would’ve benefited if they ended it with the train ride. Pacing is better at a slower pace during a set up portion. And it’s ironic you speak of pacing when you can’t “pace” your own comment appropriately. U said u were disappointed, but then you never said WHY or what they did wrong until after inventing reasons as to why the director did it rather than attributing it to a creative choice. I’m not gonna pretend I don’t wish that the anime stuck a bit closer to the paneling of the manga (and I can talk about why but I’m not going to delve into since this is about your opinion). And I also can think of a few better things they could’ve included by rearranging the order of events, but there really isn’t a lot of places they could’ve stopped.
